Senior defensive lineman Shane Yates smiles when he talks about Ohio's switch from a 3-4 to a 4-3 defense. No longer is it his job to occupy blockers while the linebackers make plays. Now, he gets to attack. The 6-2, 293-pounder began his Bobcat career blocking on the offensive side of the ball. Albin, Ohio's third Offensive Coordinator in three years, takes over a unit that struggled to put points on the board a year ago. Burrow meanwhile, is busy transforming the defense from a 3-4 to 4-3. After not hearing their names called in the NFL Draft, Ohio football players Kevin Carberry and Chip Cox signed rookie free agent contracts Sunday. Carberry signed with the Cleveland Browns and Cox with the Detroit Lions. The two will report to their respective teams Thursday for the start of rookie camp.
