Senior defensive lineman Shane Yates smiles when he talks about Ohio's switch from a 3-4 to a 4-3 defense. No longer is it his job to occupy blockers while the linebackers make plays. Now, he gets to attack. The 6-2, 293-pounder began his Bobcat career blocking on the offensive side of the ball. After not hearing their names called in the NFL Draft, Ohio football players Kevin Carberry and Chip Cox signed rookie free agent contracts Sunday. Carberry signed with the Cleveland Browns and Cox with the Detroit Lions. The two will report to their respective teams Thursday for the start of rookie camp.

Peden Stadium's host of its first nationally televised game since 1968 highlights the 2005 Ohio Football schedule. ESPN2 will broadcast the Toledo game from Athens on Friday, November 4th at 8 PM.
