Senior defensive lineman Shane Yates smiles when he talks about Ohio's switch from a 3-4 to a 4-3 defense. No longer is it his job to occupy blockers while the linebackers make plays. Now, he gets to attack. The 6-2, 293-pounder began his Bobcat career blocking on the offensive side of the ball.
