It seems like senior wide receiver Scott Mayle has moved as quick through the Ohio program as he does through an opponent's secondary. He ranks fifth all-time in receiving yardage with 1,436 and is third with 11 TD catches. However, the Philippi, West Virginia native is looking to improve upon 2005. Sitting out last season after his tranfer from Virginia Tech, Bobcat safety Michael Hinton is understandably anxious for the September 2nd opener vs. UT-Martin. In fact, he hasn't seen game action since his senior season at Hargrave Military Academy in 2002. Still, expectation are high for Hinton. As Ohio tries to improve one of the nation's worst pass offenses from a year ago, it will need better play from its wide receivers. One newcomer expected to make an impact is Sacramento City College transfer Chido Nwokocha. In two years at Sacramento City, he had 99 catches for 1,665 yards and 14 touchdowns.
