Ohio's returned focus to the running game last season meant plenty of opportunity for Kalvin McRae. The junior from Decatur, Georgia was up to the challenge. McRae's 1,153 rushing yards was the third-best single-season rushing total in Bobcats history and his three 200-yard games tied a school record. His 1,712 career rushing yards is the third-best in school history for an Ohio runner after their first two seasons. Can McRae have a better 2006? BobcatAttack.com got a chance to ask him at Ohio Football Media Day.
