BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – Ohio tied the game with two minutes left after trailing by 13 in the second half but Bowling Green made the final run to take a 67-57 victory in a Mid-American Conference opener at the Stroh Center on Saturday evening.

Bowling Green used a 9-0 run to go up 52-39 with less than eight minutes remaining, and after Walter Offutt tied the game on a putback, the Falcons closed out the game by scoring 10 of the final 11 points.

ATHENS, Ohio – Ohio forced three of its Robert Morris’ 31 turnovers in the final minute, giving it a chance in the end, but the Bobcats missed a trio of 3-pointers that could have tied it in a 70-67 loss to Robert Morris at The Convo on Monday night.

Ohio (12-2) made just 3 of 26 3-point attempts on the night and lost to the Colonials for the third year in a row, failing to become the first Bobcats team ever to win 13 of their first 14 games.

ATHENS, Ohio – Walter Offutt led four Ohio players with 14 or more points by scoring 17 to lead Ohio to its ninth straight victory, 71-63, against Kennesaw State on Friday night at The Convo.

Ivo Baltic tallied 15 points and D.J. Cooper and Nick Kellogg each finished with 14 points to account for all but 11 of the Bobcats’ points in the game.

ATHENS, Ohio – Freshman Stevie Taylor scored a career-high 19 points and Ohio pulled away in the second half for an 82-66 victory against North Carolina A&T at The Convo on Friday night.

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – Ohio led from start to finish, getting 22 points from Ivo Baltic in a dominating 76-59 victory against Northern Iowa at the McLeod Center.

The Bobcats (10-1) led 44-32 at halftime and had the game nearly put away midway through the second half with a 22-point advantage in a battle of RPI top-20 teams.

ROCHESTER, Mich. – Travis Bader missed a shot in the final seconds and Ohio held on to defeat Oakland, 84-82, on Wednesday night.

ATHENS, Ohio – Winless Morgan State led against Ohio in the final four minutes, but the Bobcats outscored the Bears 11-2 the rest of the way to capture a 61-53 victory Saturday afternoon at The Convo.

Kevin Thompson’s layup with 3:56 remaining put Morgan State on top 51-50, but Ohio never trailed again after Walter Offutt answered back with a layup of his own.
