Ohio has announced its 2002 football schedule. Brian Knorr's squad looks to bounce back from last year's 1-10 season with a schedule that includes seven road contests and three games against 2001 Bowl participants. The highlight for the Bobcats is a trip to the Swamp to face the Spurrier-less Florida Gators. The season will kick off August 31st against Pittsburgh at Heinz Field. The Panthers finished 7-5 after a Tangerine Bowl victory over NC State. OU's lone non-conference home game comes one week later when Northeastern visits Athens. The I-AA Huskies are coming off a 5-6 season. Now that Central Florida has joined the MAC, Ohio has replaced the non-conference game with a visit to Storrs, Connecticut for a game against the Huskies.
