A raucous Peden Stadium crowd wasn't enough to carry Ohio over Toledo as the Bobcats fell 30-21 to the Rockets Friday night. Toledo quarterback Bruce Gradkowski threw for 236 yards and two scores both to running back Trinity Dawson who also ran for a career-high 169 yards. Ohio's Kalvin McRae carried for 114 yards for his fourth straight 100-yard game and went over the 1,000 (1,051) yard mark for the season.

Kalvin McRae carried the ball a career-high 31 times for 224 yards and two touchdowns as Ohio posted a 34-20 win at Buffalo. The 200-yard game was McRae's second in as many weeks and third of the season. The Bobcats now prepare for an ESPN2 national TV audience when they host Toledo Friday night at 8 PM in Peden Stadium.

True freshman quarterback Brandon Jones saw his first action as a Bobcat two weeks ago at Central Michigan. He also played last week against Ball State and is 4-for-21 passing for 34 yards in the two games combined. Jones picked Ohio after a standout career at Marietta High School in Georgia where he was a first-team all-state selection as a senior. Kalvin McRae ran for 264 yards and a touchdown to lead Ohio (3-4, 2-2 MAC) to a 38-21 win over Ball St. (1-6, 1-3) on Homecoming Saturday afternoon in Athens. McRae's rushing total was the third highest in school history and headed a Bobcat ground game that gashed the Cardinals for 414 yards.
