The Tampa Bay Times is reporting that Tampa (FL) Jefferson High School WR/DB Derrick Ingram has committed to Ohio. The 6-2, 190-pounder chose Ohio over offers from BG, Middle Tenn. St. and UMass. Ingram is the the 13th verbal to Ohio's 2014 recruiting class.

Ohio has received a verbal commitment from Tallmadge High School offensive tackle Joe Lowery. Rated 3 stars by Rivals and Scout, Lowery chose Ohio over reported offers from Illinois, Cincinnati, Akron, BG, Kent St., Toledo and Western Michigan. The 6-6, 285-pounder becomes the 12th member of Ohio's 2014 recruiting class.

Washington (DC) Gonzaga High School RB/WR/KR Robbie Walker has announced his commitment to Ohio. The 5-9, 175-pounder chose Ohio over an offer from Ball State. Last season, Walker carried 177 times for 926 yards and 12 TDs while grabbing 19 catches for 259 yards and 4 TDs.

Ohio has received a verbal commitment from Pickerington Central HS wide receiver Andrew Meyer. He becomes the 10th member of Ohio's 2014 recruiting class.

Scout.com is reporting that Lakewood St. Edward OL Jake Pruehs has committed to Ohio. The 6-2, 285-pounder becomes the 6th member of Ohio's 2014 recruiting class.

ScoutingOhio.com is reporting that Ohio has received a verbal commitment from Miamisburg HS TE Connor Brown. The 6-6, 235-pounder also held offers from BG and Middle Tennessee State. Brown had 10 catches for 105 yards and one score last season for the Vikings.

247Sports.com and Rivals are both showing a verbal commitment from Mishawaka (IN) Marian High School center Kirk Barron. Both 247Sport.com and Rivals rate Barron as 3 stars. The 6-3, 297-pounder chose Ohio over offers from Ball St. and UMass.
