An apparent revival in the Bobcats' game has them headed to the MAC Tourney in Cleveland once again hopeful. Many Ohio players have rounded into form as the regular season closed. Ohio closed its regular season with an 85-48 drubbing of Bowling Green Saturday afternoon at the Convocation Center. Seniors Mychal Green (16 points) and Jeff Halbert (10) were two of the four Bobcats scoring in double figures. Ohio (17-10, 10-8 MAC) shot a sizzling 63% from the floor inluding 50% from th 3-point line. Sophomore Jerome Tillman was a perfect 4-for-4 from the field and 7-for-7 from the line for 15 points. Kent St. completed a regular season sweep of Ohio and clinched a share of the MAC Title with a 78-58 home win over Ohio Tuesday night. DeAndre Haynes led the Flashes (22-7, 15-2 MAC) with 24 points. Mychal Green paced the Bobcats (16-10, 9-8) with 16 points.

Akron shot 65% from the floor in the second half to post a 76-61 win over Ohio Saturday at James A. Rhodes Arena. The Bobcats (16-9, 9-7 MAC) shot just under 31% in the second stanza and were unable to overcome a 38-29 halftime deficit.
