BOWLING GREEN - Ohio shot less than 30 percent in the second half and only 33.3 percent overall as it suffered a 69-54 loss to Bowling Green Saturday at the Stroh Center.

The Falcons shot 48.3 percent in the second half and pulled away after leading 34-29 at halftime.

ATHENS - Northern Illinois held Ohio to 30 percent shooting in the second half and took a 70-60 victory in the teams' Mid-American Conference opener Wednesday night at The Convo.

ATHENS, Ohio - A huge second half helped Ohio pull away from UNCW for a 72-53 victory Tuesday night at The Convo.

Trailing 34-30 at halftime, the Bobcats (5-6) outscored the Seahawks 42-19 after the break.

HONOLULU - Ohio stayed close throughout but never led and fell 71-58 to Nebraska in the fifth-place game of the Diamond Head Classic on Thursday.

The Bobcats trailed 32-30 at halftime and still were within four with eight minutes left, but the Cornhuskers pulled away.

ATHENS - Craig Bradshaw scored with one second left and Belmont took an 83-81 victory against Ohio on Saturday night at The Convo.

The basket came after Javarez Willis tied the game with a bucket with six seconds remaining.
