BUFFALO, N.Y. - Buffalo scored 52 points in the second half and handed Ohio its seventh straight loss, 93-66, on Tuesday night at Alumni Arena.

The Bulls' lead was just 41-32 after a Javarez Willis 3-pointer to start the second half, but things got away from the Bobcats quickly after that, with Buffalo using a 12-0 run to go up 22 only five minutes into the half.

AKRON - Ohio's offensive struggles continued with just 32 percent shooting in a 70-58 loss to Akron on Friday night at James A. Rhodes Arena.

Akron struggled nearly as much in the first half but warmed up to turn a 27-23 halftime advantage into an easy win and the Bobcats' first six-game Mid-American Conference losing streak since 1981. The Zips were 7-of-12 from 3-point range in the second half.

ATHENS - Bowling Green dominated the final 12 minutes of the first half and used that big advantage to take a 76-65 victory against Ohio on Tuesday night at The Convo.

ATHENS - Ohio erased all but two points of an 11-point halftime deficit only to have Kent State go on another run that allowed it to pull away for a 64-51 victory Saturday at The Convo.

An 11-2 run at the end of the first half pushed Kent State out to a 36-25 advantage, and after Ohio came back with a 9-0 run early in the second half to get within two, the Golden Flashes scored eight straight as part of a 12-2 run capped by a Devareaux Manley four-point play.

KALAMAZOO, Mich. - A late 11-0 run lifted Western Michigan to an 80-69 victory against Ohio on Wednesday night at University Arena.

OXFORD - Ohio led by as much as 14 in the first half, but Miami took over after that and knocked off Ohio, 77-66, on Saturday at Millett Hall.

The RedHawks shot 58.3 percent in the second half and cruised down the stretch on an afternoon where Miami retired the jersey of the late Charlie Coles.

ATHENS - Ohio could not overcome a slow start and fell 68-57 against Central Michigan on Tuesday night at The Convo.

The Bobcats (9-13, 4-7 Mid-American Conference) shot just 25 percent in the first half, fell behind 15-0 and trailed 39-20 at halftime. Ohio warmed up in the second half but never got its deficit into single-digits.

ATHENS - For the second game in a row, an opponent rallied in the second half but missed a potential game-changing shot at the buzzer as Ohio held off Eastern Michigan, 76-73, on Saturday at The Convo.

Raven Lee missed a 3-pointer that could have tied the game after the Eagles trailed by 15 with 8:19 remaining. It was one of the few times Lee missed. He scored 33 points in just 21 minutes, and all but two of his points came in the second half.
