TOLEDO – Jaaron Simmons tied a school and Mid-American Conference record with 17 assists, and Ohio built a 22-point second-half lead before Toledo rallied to tie the game, but the Bobcats came away winners, 81-79, on Tuesday night at Savage Arena.

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Ohio went cold in the second half, shooting just 28 percent, and Central Michigan pulled away for a 72-49 victory Saturday at McGuirk Arena.

The Chippewas, on the other hand, shot 55.6 percent after the break to blow open a 35-28 halftime lead.

KENT – Kent State went on an 11-0 run in the second half to pull away for an 89-82 victory against Ohio on Saturday night at the MAC Center.

With the game tied at 46, the Golden Flashes held the Bobcats scoreless for four minutes, moving ahead, 57-46.
