ATHENS – Jordan Dartis scored 27 points, and Ohio snapped a seven-game losing streak to Central Michigan with a 77-69 victory Tuesday night at The Convo.

Dartis knocked down 7 of 12 3-pointers and got plenty of help from Ben Vander Plas, who had 13 of his 17 points in the second half and added seven rebounds. Jason Preston had 15 points, six rebounds and six assists, and Lunden McDay finished with six points for the Bobcats (13-13, 5-8 Mid-American Conference).

KENT – Troy Simons and Anthony Roberts combined for 48 points to lead Kent State to an 87-72 victory against Ohio on Saturday at the MAC Center.

Simons finished with 27 points, while Roberts scored 21. Antonio Williams contributed 16 points, and C.J. Williamson had 14 points off the bench for the Golden Flashes (17-8, 7-5 Mid-American Conference), who shot 53.1% for the game, including 17 of 31 (54.8%) from long range.

ATHENS – Miami missed 24 straight shots in the first half, and Ohio rolled to a 77-46 victory against its rival Saturday at The Convo.

Jason Preston posted a triple-double with 15 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists.

DeKALB, Ill. – Noah McCarty hit go-ahead shots on Northern Illinois’ final two possessions, and Ben Roderick missed a jumper at the buzzer as the Huskies held off Ohio 61-59 on Tuesday night at The Convocation Center in DeKalb, Illinois.

AMHERST, N.Y. – Jeenathan Williams scored a go-ahead basket inside with 15 seconds left, and Buffalo overcame 55 combined points from Ben Vander Plas and Jason Preston in a 76-73 victory on Tuesday night at UB Arena.
