ATHENS – Justin Turner and Bowling Green had a dominant second half, quickly erasing an Ohio halftime lead on the way to an 83-74 Falcons victory on Saturday at The Convo.

Turner scored 29 points as Bowling Green (11-5, 2-1 Mid-American Conference) outscored Ohio 50-31 after halftime when Ohio led 43-33.

Ben Vander Plas had 19 of his career-high 25 points in the first half for the Bobcats (9-7, 1-2 MAC). Jason Preston added 15 points, but it came on 5-of-14 shooting.

KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Ohio struggled offensively again, shooting just 33.8% in a 77-65 loss to Western Michigan to begin Mid-American Conference play Saturday at University Arena.

ATHENS – Short-handed Ohio struggled offensively and dropped a 63-55 decision to Campbell on Sunday at The Convo.

With Jordan Dartis sitting out sick, the Bobcats were just 4 of 20 from 3-point range and shot just 36.5% overall.

ATHENS – Jordan Dartis and Ben Vander Plas combined for 49 points, and Ohio held off Morehead State 82-76 on Saturday afternoon at The Convo.

Vander Plas had 24 points, 11 rebounds and four assists, while Dartis went 5 of 10 from long range and scored 25 points. Jason Preston added 13 points, six rebounds and eight assists.

ATHENS – Down by 20 points at halftime, Ohio made a big second-half run to get as close as six, but Purdue pulled away again and took a 69-51 victory Tuesday night at The Convo.
