Saying someone has academic struggles is one thing. Posting someone's standardized test score is fishy to me.

Agreed. Its one thing to want to know/hope that he's going to be an academic qualifier (is this even in doubt?), but quite another to ask that private, and possibly legally protected*, information be posted.

*I say possibly legally protected because I don't know if it is or is not and am too lazy to look it up

If it becomes public info, it is because the player wants it to be. If you go to ScoutingOhio.com, you'll see that coaches can sort by ACT and SAT scores. But that info comes from the player.

Most services simply provide an outlet for information they receive from high school coaches, parents and players.  Coaches, parents and players have a lot to gain by providing good film, stats and personal info on the players.  It is a "BIG" plus to be able throw a good ACT out there with the video.  Good ACT = scale tipper.  Oh, never go by the provided ht. & wt.  Most high school info on fb players adds 2 inches and up to 20 pounds.

Btw guys Kyle Snyder is doing very well at his new home..I think he will throw for a TON of yards there.
Kyle has done a great job here so far. He will not, however, throw for a ton of yards. He's in a Tony Samuels offense. His #1 job will be to decide if he's keeping it or pitching it. Look at the stats the last two years. Matt Sheible was a superior QB to Snyder and was allowed to throw about 28% of the time. That's not changing this year.

Update after three regular season games...

Walsh has led Coffman to a 3-0 record, including Friday's 40-7 win over previously undefeated Massillon Perry. Against Perry, Walsh completed 23 of 32 for 313 yards and 3 TDs. In Coffman's second game against Dublin Scioto, Walsh threw for only 108 yards and 1 TD, but ran for 114 and 1 TD in a 34-14 win.

Dublin Coffman hosts 2-1 Hilliard Davidson this Friday night.

Saw Walsh and the big OL recruit from Sheridan in one of the long concession lines Sat. night.

Walsh is 43 of 64 on the year for 513 yards w/ Coffman ranked 6th in Ohio.

Very impressive performance in Coffman's 33-10 grudge match win vs. Hilliard Davidson.  Walsh was 14 for 18 for about 200 yds.  Offense is set up so that most passes are of dink and dunk variety, but he threw two long ones, one for a TD, that hit the receiver in stride and on the numbers.  Buddy of mine who has followed h.s.football for decades noted that the kid did not throw a bad pass and never made a bad decision.  Wlash also had a nice night running.  Don't know the stats, but he scored two touchdowns on runs of about 6 and 10 yds.

Coffman's a darn good team, barring injuries to key players Shamrocks should have a nice playoff run.

Hate to see my old high school gettin' schooled by Walsh and our arch rival, but at 9-0 now, Coffman has definitely set the stage for a deep playoff run. Hopefully I can get out and catch a few  of their playoff games so I get to see him play before he gets to Athens.

You can watch Dublin Coffman and Walsh on FSN-Ohio (I think) tonight at midnight on tape delay.

Febus was a dominant special teams player if I recall correctly.  That is all I can ask for out of my QB.

Well, Walsh and Coffman fell to Davidson in the playoffs.  Rivalry grudge matches are always hard to predict!
