I used to hate the blue turf, but compared to Eastern’s pewter field it’s just fine.
Eastern isn't the only school with that terrible turf. Marietta has the same.

Hard to argue ...

https://sports.yahoo.com/ranking-the-39-bowl-games-from-b...

Potato Bowl listed as 36th out of 39. Only bowl worse featuring MAC team is Pitt v EMU ... and I think that's more of a slight on Pitt.

Woof.

Nevada fired 3 defensive coaches today. This game should be a barn burner.

If Nevada even brings a few thousand fans, they'll outnumber Ohio fans by 10x, and factoring in the distance this is effectively a true road game. Maybe that's a good thing given how this team performed at Peden this season.
Utah State outnumbered us at least 100-1, with a relatively short drive up from Logan. (that one in Utah) This match up won't be nearly as big a deal fan wise, and I think Coach has some ties to Boise, which may bring some local attendee sentiment for the Bobs.

I’d say we will have 10k plus in attendance. Lots of family living out west.

So Nevada will be without 3 defensive starters for the whole game and another for first half because of their part in a brawl in the UNLV game. Handed down penalties today by MWC. Wow

That’s 3 of their top 6 tacklers.

Ohio will win in a blowout. This was a win the second I saw the matchup, and it just got even easier.

Why do we even play any games? We are undefeated without snapping the ball once! How about riding that bandwagon?

It amazes me that any Bobcat fan can be that confident after a 6-6 season. Be thankful for another opportunity and hope the Bobcats play well enough to win. They have struggled to win close games this season.

And Ohio only finished 6-6 because it closed out the year against the 2 worst teams in the FBS.

I definitely think Ohio can win this game but the way this year's gone, I'm sure not feeling giddy or cocky about it.

Wait?!?! Ohio didn't play in the MAC title game this year??!?! Or last year?!?!?! Or the year before that?!?!?!

C'mon! I don't believe you. It was guaranteed so many times on here I thought it was a reality.

I thought Ohio was entering the 2020 season as three-time defending MAC champs!

Well ... at least I have my 2019 Potato Bowl Champion shirt already. No one can that from me!

WAIT?!?!?! That game hasn't been played yet either!?!?!

Other than a few folks on here who are ultra confident I assume about all aspects of life based on their Ohio Football thoughts I think most people who take the time to come on here are aware of what this season was.
I always felt that the team was predicted to be much better than I thought they would be based on #12. This is overall a very young inexperienced roster especially in key spots like WR and RB. I’m disappointed they aren’t MAC Champions but it is what it is. Just salvage the season with a Bowl Win that leads to more practices and a positive to head into next season.

I hate to break the news to you but BG is definitely not in the bottom two, they win 3 games. I’ll give you Akron was in the bottom 2. Sagarin actually has an unnamed ex MAC member as the worse though.

Driving southbound around 8 am on 33 just past Logan I saw four charter buses headed toward Capital City.
I am guessing it was the team headed to the airport.

What is the OHIO QB depth Chart for the Tater? Young brother injured and one in transfer pool leaves OHIO where?

Keszei is No. 2 (moved back to QB from wide receiver). K.J. Minter, who played QB in high school, is No. 3.

I don't have a lot of confidence in this game. It's quite possible that Ohio could win this big, but if it comes down to a one-possession game at the end, I'll take Nevada.
