The coaches need to get over their obsession with Nathan and bench his brother. How long must we go on expecting Kurtis to wake up and become a clone of his brother? In the most polite way possible, this kid is a bum.

A "bum" that threw for 356 and 4 TDs last week? Give me a break.

That's on Rourke. How many safeties in past two years? 4-5? Most due to Rourke's slow feet.
this was bad exchange. indecisiveness. Nothing to do with feet
His feet were tangled when he (wrongly) decided to pull the ball back out. Bangura would have gotten us 4 yards there.

Rourke almost got a safety late in last week's game because he tripped over his own feet.

Dumb play calling on third and two at the 40 something. Two passes. If you can’t run the ball for 2 yards in two downs you don’t deserve to win.

Defense up the middle has been good. Need to learn how to protect the edge.

I am genuinely impressed with our defense this year so far. Our offense continues to be predictable and uninspired.

Feel free to take the blinders off. Even a blind squirrel finds a nut every once in a while. This kid is a G5 backup on his best day. Normally I have nothing against nepotism but you can’t just let this guy start for years and do nothing. Give someone else a shake.

I’m super impressed with the defense! The offensive is finally showing some life too— if we can come out of halftime maintaining some explosiveness on offense, we can at least make this respectable.

I think you are watching the Texas-Bama game. Our jerseys are green and white and the game is on ABC.

Our #13 has had three huge whiffs today. Two directly led to TDs.

I don't understand this at all. My impression's been the opposite. Offense has shown surprising poise and doesn't seem wildly over matched. We've done a decent job keeping their offense off the field, but theyve hung 326 yards of offense and 26 points on us in 40 snaps. Basically averaging 8 yards a play.

Very funny.

My expectations are realistic. I have no delusions about competing for a win, I’m just happy to see the defense playing competitively and not letting things get out of hand, and finally a good offensive drive as well. Putting up some points and not letting it become a complete blowout is fine by me.

Compared to last year, this Defense has taken a major leap forward. The offense, itself, always seems like it is one step away from breaking out, only to fall short when it counts. I think this team is better than expected. If we can stay healthy, our ability to compete in the MAC seems quite promising.

Parodie whiffed on what should have been an int on that last touchdown. Ball was a bullet, but he didn't put his hands out...would have been a huge play.

This is my impression as well. The offense has done a good job not getting completely overwhelmed and are picking up some first downs, but they hadn’t been able to put anything together and go down the field until the touchdown drive at the end of the half.

But, there's are reasons our guys are in the MAC and theirs are in the Big 10. Cut down on the mistakes, keep it respectable and no major injuries. And, keep it classy and stop calling our players "bums"

I think the offense tried to set up the lateral play last week but the pass was behind the receiver.

Defense is whiffing on too many tackles. Cost us one, maybe two TDs.

Realistic? I thought it was realistic that we lose by like 21 before the game. Now I think it’s realistic that we lose by 40. They’ve actually gone above and beyond realistic in that sense.

When I was in the 8th grade my team only won one game and it was 100% due to trick plays. After the game my coach chewed the entire team out talking about how cheap of a win it was and how trick plays are for teams that suck. He was 10,000% right. We put up a few points because we were cheap and the other team wasn’t paying attention. We didn’t impose any sort of will on them. We just tied their shoes together and they shrugged it off.

Thanks for your insight coach. Comparing to your 8th grade team ... lol. Calling Rourke a bum, as you did, is classless.

Sounds like your coach is not only a bad coach, but also a dick.

Not that it would make a difference but damn, the missed holding penalties are getting ridiculous. Even Timmy Albin was upset with it in Q2

Sounds like you didn't impose any sort of will on them in the other games, too. And that, you know, your team sucked. You went 1 and whatever. If trick plays are for teams that suck, it seems like that particular team should've been using trick plays, no?

Or do you think some vague notion of the importance of "imposing will" is more important than winning the game?
