Great picture, but isn't that kind of an insult to the clown?

It is a little known fact that the song "Send in the Clowns" was written about Temple fans.

Remember that if you ever get on Jeopardy.

I gave you credit at first but now I've got to revoke that as well.  He's obviously not a candidate for a big time job due to his age and if you could see beyond the Filthadelphia smog, you'd understand there's no reason at all for someone in his position not to close out his career in Athens and in his home state.

It turns out Temple people are indeed obnoxious and self centered without cause to a one.

Mark

The fact that you choose to criticize someone for prioritizing his children over his Alma Mater is laughable and speaks directly to your make up.  I suppose though, it doesn't truly surprise me that Temple churns out people like you, assuming you even are an Alumnus.

Please continue enjoying your shallow existence comprised of jealousy and a complete lack of self confidence.  On a related note, assuming you were telling the truth earlier about not being married, please do the world a favor and either don't or get yourself fixed before you do.  The thought of a child depending on you for guidance sends shivers down my spine.

I never thought I'd say this but I now officially enjoy watching Temple lose as much as Ohio A&M.

I have a friend that is a CYO Basketball Coach. I never knew him to have ever even watched a game of basketball let alone played a game. Yet, there he is "mentoring." Laughable....

Yea, you're educated and a role model for children.

The fact that you completely miss what qualifies one to mentor children proves out why you're not even qualified to comment on it and why you think traveling to a Bowl game should be prioritized over it...

And this gem "Kids dont need Daddys they need Fathers" leaves me hoping you've spent the better part of your life standing in front of microwave ovens...It's clearly the only hope left that you do nothing to expand your family tree.  I only wish the fry machine you almost surely currently work, served the same purpose...

Median income of $33,000 and 94% white. Sounds like you are mentoring ignorant, broke hillbillies

I just don't understand these threads. Temple is the furthest thing from my mind.
I don't think anyone really cares two bits about Temple; they just genuinely detest MH55. I do see a gradual shift, though, because his efforts do seem to be building a strong feeling of total disdain and contempt for Temple that extends beyond just him.

We beat you and you still rip us. By your initial posts, I gave you some credit for having some intelligent reasoning, but you're just as bad as the other guy.

Speaking of open coaching positions,  tell us where Golden will land next season.

I can't believe these clowns are still talking smack... It is pretty pathetic. For one to get satisfaction in firing up a whole message board shows how little they offer the world. All the other MAC fans get along fairly well, I mean sure we have disagreements but for the most part even Ohio and Miami fans get along, but for some reason Temple fans can't comprehend that... I'm sure you will offer some quip about how Temple will be gone to the Big East or how the MAC screwed you guys out of a bowl, blah blah blah...

If nothing else your ignorance is entertaining...As of the last available census data, Filthadelphia checked in at a whopping $20,880 per capita as opposed to $20,633 in Delaware...Both falling short of the National average by around $1000.

Per capita income similarities not withstanding though, I believe I'll take your advice and stay in Delaware where one can still take a walk at night and not have to carry a concealed weapon to do so.

It appears I've struck a nerve so on that note, I'll bid you farewell until you crawl out from under your rock again a week before next year's annual beat down.

This is wrong. The median family income of Delaware, Ohio is $54,000, which is above the national average.

The median family income for the county as a whole is over $90,000, with less than 4% of people falling below the poverty line. This makes it one of the wealthier counties in the entire country. I won't even pull Philadelphia's statistics out but they are abysmal. You sir are ignorant.

With no bowl game to draw their attention what else are they going to do.  Apparently they come to our board and read about our next game.

The best part is that's not even where Mike lives.  This fool can't even insult the right person.  And I worked in Delaware County part of the summer... broke it ain't.  Just look at Lewis Center.

I stand corrected. Mr Administrator, please change the heading of this topic to:

WHERE'S THOSE FOOLS FROM TEMPLE NOW? That would be plural to you two IDIOTS!

One question for you fools though. You seem to have impressed yourselves with your attendance vs. Villanova and one of you two spouted off something really impressive like averaging 20,000 fans a pop even in rain storms (guess MH55 didn't get to use the suntan lotion at that game either, huh). With having such an IT coach by the way I love his Woody Hayes impressions although Woody was tougher he actually wore SHORT-sleeve white shirts in zero degree weather, playing in a Pro Stadium, having attendance figures like those you crowed about, having won one Bowl when they played without helmets, why in the HELL did the Big East invite a non-Division 1 school, Villanova, to join the Big East over you CHUMPS? You guys seem to HAVE IT ALL!  Just sayin!
Oh, congrats on those huge attendance numbers you guys put up against OHIO, when you guys had it all on the line to WIN the MAC East, a sure thing bowl bid, your second winning season in a row, your IT coach, your Heisman candidate running back, your mega-million metropolis to draw from well let me tell you that was a very, very, very, very, very, very, UNIMPRESSIVE turn-out. Guess your really NOT Big East worthy?
NO BOWL FOR YOU - COME BACK ONE YEAR! NEXT!!!!

I love these guys, bringing up bowl wins and median incomes.  Making fun of people for being proactively involved in children's life.  Trashing a city that he clearly knows nothing about.  Good stuff men, bravo!

Temple all-time football record 409–543–52 (.433)

Ohio all-time football record: 499-516-48 (.492)

Temple MAC titles: 0

Ohio MAC titles: 5

From your own state's paper:  http://www.lehighvalleylive.com/sports/index.ssf/2010/12/temple_universitys_bowl_snub_s.html

"Sellout" has never been a word Temple athletics used often, not even when the men's basketball team was making the NCAA Tournament 17 times under coach John Chaney. Philadelphia is the fourth-largest television market in the country, but as a college football market, it sits distantly behind so-called backwater towns such as Morgantown, W.V., or Tuscaloosa, Ala.'

'.. it manages to draw between 15,000-17,000 to Lincoln Financial Field for its home games.'

Percent of stadium filled per home game

Temple: ~25%

Ohio: ~78%

other fun facts:

Bowl Games that Temple has played in that still exist today: 2

Bowl Games that Ohio has played in that still exsit today: 3 (does not include New Orleans Bowl, which brings me to my next stat..)

Bowl Games Temple will play in this season: 0

Bowl Games Ohio will play in this season: 1

Random question:

What is Temple Sucks?

Edit to add:

Least we forget...

Head to Head record all time Ohio v Temple:

3 - 1, Ohio

The point's well given--temples is a yawner but congrats to 55 for having won the dick of the year title for 2010.

and 2011.

At the top of the Eiffel Tower (ask someone, 55), a stranger turned to me and remarked 'temple sucks.'  The whole crowd in the elevator applauded.

I am trying to determine which college campus is worse......spent 2 years working in Newark, NJ. Seton Hall is gated in on all sides as it backs right up to the Vailsburg section of Newark. Then there's Temple pudding pop U. Stay inside the gates in that dump too. Unlike you 2 butt pipes I have been to both places and actually lived in other parts of the country. Good thing I didn't drink Captain back then. I would have ended up a 100% drunk everyday given the depressing fact I had to even look at these 2 cities. Sad really.

It's a bad rap on Jersey though. Most of the state is actually gorgeous.

Ben Franklin HS gave us Snoopy Graham. We gave the Phillies the greatest 3rd baseman of All-Time. Too bad Michael Jack didn't head to Cincinnati. He always hated Phillie Fans and know I know why.
