You'll wonder where in the heck your driving to but then once you pop up over the hill you'll realize why people love this campus..  My kids were sold at first sight...

It's so true. After getting acceptance letters I made my campus visits. Michigan State, Penn State and then Ohio. After an 8+ hour drive (based on my dad's old maps that didn't include I-68) I was hooked as soon as i saw those beautiful campus buildings. Dad was hooked when they mentioned the accolades of Scripps. But that initial quintessential campus view already had me.

And every time I made the drive and saw the campus (as a student and alum) I still had the same feeling of excitement.

And probably will if I ever see Her again...

Yeah I must have missed somewhere, everyone seems so sure that TT isn't going to be playing this weekend. If this is the case, does anyone have a source? I haven't heard any such news yet.

I think the only thing we're sure of is that we don't know for sure. Per Arkley's twitter feed, it is 50:50, and probably will be a game time decision..

Following Missouri's QB, Franklin sat out vs Arizona State (non-conf),  MIZZOU won and now they have Franklin much better for the remainder.  Just me, I don't see so much at stake vs NSU.  If Ohio can not handle them without TT, then, the team is not the BCS buster anyhow. I would like TT to sit, help from the side, get healthier, then, steamroll the MAC.

no big deal, its just our starting QB, top 2 RBs, top WR, top DE and top 3 CBs that are questionable or confirmed out.

Like I said earlier, this one is going to be tough, I think.

I hope I'm wrong.

I think Perimeter's referencing the fact that Beau played dinged up at Marshall and the assumption that Coach will want to rest him as much as possible as well.

I understand the sentiment here but think many of you are going to be pleasantly surprised by OUr overall depth today.  These kids are chomping at the bit for more playing time...They're not hoping against hope their number isn't called.  I know it's hard to get used to but this is a different program...Top to bottom.  It's not a fly by night guess that many media outlets are talking Top 25 and better.  There's a reason SI is in town.  Not only are we going to be OK today...Ohio's going to show they deserve all this attention.

That's how I'd play it, too. I also like the idea of Vick knowing from the start that he's the man, and needs to perform. That's much better than throwing him in cold, unexpectedly, when TT takes a hit.

I do agree, though, that TT will probably start. He's a competitor, and wants the ball in his hands, you can see that.

That line seems high with TT.

Or not.

Ohio hasn't missed a thing with Vick in, and Norfolk is helping Ohio with field position and penalties. In the second half we should see everyone but the water boy, and we might see him, too.

Just make sure we don't send out two #7s.

Only concern now is that no one gets injured. Game is getting out of control. A player needs to get ejected before a brawl begins.

Norfolk state needs to show some class. They are embarrassing themselves. The announcer just said we should run the score up cause they deserve it.

Norfolk is the leader in their conference in earning penalties. They seem to be living up to that reputation today. I'm not impressed.

Late points by Norfolk St and missed field goals may cost us a style point vote or 2 in the polls.

I think that we can chalk this one up as a good solid workmanlike win.  Disappointed in Weller but very pleased with Vick.  No, nothing flashy for the pollsters to get all excited about but since when did the pollsters pay any attention to the Bobcats anyway?

It will be very interesting to see what the SI guy writes about us.  I hope he came away impressed.  Overall, happy with today's performance.  It's always good to get the back ups some real time experience.

I thought TT woud pay; I was very wrong but glad to see Vick do well.  I hope he'll gain 10-15 lbs of strength for durability and throwning power.

Loved seeing the subs get lots of field time.  Good job in getting off to a solid start.

Kicking games need work.  Every punt seems barely gotten off.

Time to start thinking about UMass.

With all due respect to McKinney...I was not impressed with Norfolk State.  Sitting a few rows behind their bench, they seemed to be either disinterested or crying about something most of the time.  Maybe it is just commonplace in D1 football, but lots of back and forth between teammates too.

Plus, they kind of sucked.  We let off the gas big time in the 2nd half, which may not be the smartest strategy for breaking into the top 25 but is probably the more classy approach.
