With all due respect to McKinney...I was not impressed with Norfolk State. Sitting a few rows behind their bench, they seemed to be either disinterested or crying about something most of the time. Maybe it is just commonplace in D1 football, but lots of back and forth between teammates too.
Plus, they kind of sucked. We let off the gas big time in the 2nd half, which may not be the smartest strategy for breaking into the top 25 but is probably the more classy approach.
We were up 34-0 in the first half, final was 44-10. I don't think we really needed to pull an Oklahoma State to impress people, especially when our second and third team (and some walk-ons were there too I heard) were controlling them too.
