Need to score in four minutes or less to realistically have a shot here.

Good start by Daz.

BG's superior special teams are the difference in this game.

I've never seen such a stark difference between two punt teams.

One jacks 63-yard net punts, and blocks 3 punts.  The other...well...words cant describe.

Our D hadn't played bad...terrible punt team has thrown away this entire game, giving them short fields or instant points.

Unbelievable.

D can give up 3 vs. 7 anytime it wishes to bother to show up.

Yeah, I don't understand why they don't stack the box and make BG's quarterback beat them. I haven't seen anything that says he's going to be able to do that. I know they're thin and inexperienced in the secondary, but right now you have to stop the bleeding in the run game.

+1

We should be stacking the line every play, forcing them to throw.

It appears not one member of our coaching staff showed up in this game either.

Again, DO NOT PUNT EVER AGAIN THIS SEASON.

Look on the bright side. Has a punt ever been as exciting as this one?

Only reason that wasn't blocked is because they didn't have a rush on.

I hope Solich does an honest assessment of his staff at year's end, and puts team and OU above old loyalties.

D needs a three and out or a TO.  However, they haven't bothered to step up tonight either.

BG just took pity on us by not rushing the punt.

The tension of the snap. The fear of whether he'd catch the ball. The  joy of him getting the punt off. The contentedness of BG not running it back.

I need a cigarette.

Crazy thing is that we're still unbelievably in this game...mainly because BG is inept in the passing game.

Gotta score a TD on this drive.

I covered Brian Schmiedebusch at Ottawa-Glandorf once and he punted the ball in the air about 40 yards past the returner. I wish Ohio had him right now.

A punter from a wretched program like VIncent Warren is the best we have to offer as a punter? I realize he probably got a lot of practice in high school but seriously.  I think they have an open competition for punter in practice this week.

They also have a posting for a new Special Teams Coach.  It seems like we are paying for the risky play they have been using all season in one game.

I resent this comment...but then again, I was just some wretched player from a wretched program.

Apparently not.  He must be stuck in a perma brain freeze.

Only way to explain his play calling, and NOT having Blankenship in the game that series.

Can there be any other explanation?

Inexcusable.

This team and Cat Nation deserve much better use of our personnel, and play calling.
