Tettleton wasn't gettin flushed from the pocket on every play by himself either. Carlotta being out isn't helping.

That's why I advocate running the ball from here on out.

Then again, I always advocate running the ball...

Terrible play calling on that drive.

Blankenship running crazy, and they throw on second down, second and 6.

Then of course we get another punt blocked.

Who's our "special" teams coach?

Worst half in Ohio Football history, just a complete embarrassment to any Bobcat.

struggling to mount an argument...can't

2nd half MACC last year.

NIU was better and it wasn't a home game.

Continually going to this same punt formation is absolutely a fireable offense in my opinion.

No adjustments on punt protection at halftime.  Then, our D gives up 8 yards on first down.

This is absolutely embarrassing special teams play! The punter has been slow all year getting punt off.

It's a horrible combination of horrible blocking and a punter who has a Sergio Garcia/Keegan Bradley-esque mental block at swinging his leg. He's holding the ball an entire second too long when the blocking is that bad.

This is a joke.  It's not like this came out of nowhere.  The Cats haven't had room to punt all year.

Announcers made some sense... at this point, we really should just go for it on fourth down, no matter where we are. This is absolutely incredible.

There is no possible way we can win this game with the way our punting squad is imploding.

D could step up with a stop, but couldn't be bothered with doing that.

Another 5 or 6 on first dow, nice job D.  Glad you could step up with stops in tough situations.

I agree.  We simply cannot punt again in this game.   Blocking is poor, no adjustment by our "special" teams coach, and this punter has bad timing (too much) and activity going on.  Plus he's skittish. (understandably)

But this has been a problem all year. Normally he has to do a side, quick kick to get it off.

Frank, on second and 6, run the ball.

I'll take my chances running Blankenship 4 times each series.

May not matter if D allows them to score here.

It's really sad that they are only up 5 on us despite our horrible play.  Granted the writing is on the wall that they will be up 12 in a few plays.  They are about due for a mistake of their own.

I think Monroe is going to see the fast-break offense he's been looking for here in the fourth. Not in the situation he was hoping for, though. Have to hope to get four possessions in the fourth quarter. Figure if BG scores here you need to score on two of those four drives.

Once we finish 8-4, on a three-game losing streak, will any bowl even want us? I'd take Toledo, NIU, Kent, Ball State and BG before us... and Miami could easily finish ahead of us in the league.

Sorry, knee-jerk overreaction, but man this is depressing.

Same damn play all night and we don't have coaches smart enough to stop them on third down.  Coaches and players getting equal blame in a lack of effort/preparation for tonights very important game.  Just a joke on all levels tonight.

Yeah, I don't understand why they don't stack the box and make BG's quarterback beat them. I haven't seen anything that says he's going to be able to do that. I know they're thin and inexperienced in the secondary, but right now you have to stop the bleeding in the run game.

A punter from a wretched program like VIncent Warren is the best we have to offer as a punter? I realize he probably got a lot of practice in high school but seriously.  I think they have an open competition for punter in practice this week.

They also have a posting for a new Special Teams Coach.  It seems like we are paying for the risky play they have been using all season in one game.

A RB carries half our team into the end zone for a TD.  Our players either quiet or didn't give two shits about tonight.  Coaches and Players see another possible MAC Championship gone due to a home loss.  This one tonight is just embarrassing..

A couple weeks ago I was thinking about booking my trip to the Orange Bowl for the Cats first BCS birth with all the money I was going to save on Mitt's tax cut.  Things sure do change quick

BG's superior special teams are the difference in this game.

I've never seen such a stark difference between two punt teams.

One jacks 63-yard net punts, and blocks 3 punts.  The other...well...words cant describe.

Our D hadn't played bad...terrible punt team has thrown away this entire game, giving them short fields or instant points.

Unbelievable.
