I still think we can go 9-3 or 10-2.  We need to have someone like Bussey or Futrell or Roback step up to be the 2nd receiver.  BGSUcks double or triple teamed Donte all night and pretty much shut him down.  Plus, it'll help keep Tyler from scrambling into sacks.  It might also be good having Beau not splitting duties anymore, although if he goes down (knock on wood) we're screwed.  I presume the punt team is getting a ton of practice and maybe a new scheme this week.

The WOUB Twitter feed reported that Albin said Daz will get 30-40% of the snaps at Ball State.

This shows Daz has gained the full confidence of Albin/Solich. Earlier when Ryan was hurt Beau had to go it alone.  Ryan was a change of pace, Daz will be too, though different.  Often the change of pace could avg better than the starter. Jackson for the Rams, vs 49ers, 29 for 101 avg 3.5. His relief, Richardson, 7 for 58 avg 8.3.  Two are better than one.

Daz wanted to earn Freshman All-Americqn - his kick return was a nice start. Now how about a couple 200 yard games to finish the season?

I am still angry, you owe me one.  In doing the light research to fill in the BOBCAT CHALLENGE results for week 10, I notice that BG's qb was 7 of 17 for 91 yards, including that splendid fake which resulted in a 55 yard td.  So, aside from that long strike, he was 6-16 for 36 yards.

This is not a misprint; except for one play, dude passed for all of 36 yards on us.

So, why am I angry?  Because we did nothing special to stop their run, to stack for their running game.  Hint: When BG had the ball and came to the line of scrimmage, what was it going to be?  Oh!  I have that!  A RUN.  But we let them hit us for 197 yards on 36 carries--a 5.5 yard average.

That's horrid when a team has no passing game at all.

Enough of this passive defense.  We need to attack,, to take control--physically and emotionally--at key moments.

Let us begin with the Ball State.

Come on, no posts on the official game thread for 12 HOURS on/around gameday?!? I know the luster is off of this game for many of us, but its still a nationally televised game against a team who spoiled our homecoming celebrations last year!

Stand up and Cheer! Go get'em cats!

I still do not know how BALL SACK STATE beat us on homecoming last year, team must of been enjoying the beautiful weather that day and not concentrating on football.

Only if a Cat shaved his Ballz States with a rusty razor would that  have been bad luck.  But thanks for not shaving either location in two days--a win is now for certain!

9 and two here we come!  This should be a terrific and entertaining watch tonight.

Go Bobcats!

On the pre-game show, Russ said Roback was out. Didn't hear the specific injury.

I have a hard time with people complaining about Albin when our defense is so obviously inept.

I have a hard time believing anyone on the defense ever played a down of football before coming to Athens. They just look more inept every series.

I hate to call anyone out, but there are some kids on the defense who are absolute non factors week in and week out. They provide no value whatsoever. I hope we have some decent recruits coming in who can contribute.

I'm cringing because I like defense, but the #MACtion is strong in this one. It's gonna be entertaining. We're giving the nation what it wants.

Daz is tough, but why is he in there running the same plays Beau does? No point having our fastest guy run a HB dive.

No penalty? BSU guy grabbed Daz by the collar and then gave him a cheap shot to the back after the whistle.
