That's because those that post on BA are the only true Bobcat fans.
Brilliant, once again.

I think the combination of the team's performance at the end of last year, with the negativity that was on BA at the time alienated a lot of people from BA. If the team continues to play hard, and continues to improve, hopefully they will return.

Congrats--You have your M.O.!

True fans are here either way, L.C., as you know. Plus this year's team has to date given solid reasonable reason for hope, particularly in light of its youth and development.

Oh, well, plenty of room left on the bandwagon and better late than never.

GO OHIO!!!

Headed to the stadium now and it's cool, damp and windy. If we don't come out ready to hit in true football weather it could be a long day.

I have seen enough. Bass has to be replaced. I try not to call out one of our young men but its time.

I was just thinking that. What the heck is Bass even doing in the game? And why do we still have our current offensive coordinator? This is horrible. Run, run, pass. Run, run, pass. Time to open it up. Get Duckworth out of his redshirt if we have to. Come on Cats.

Yes. Very depressing start. I see nothing on offense that even indicates movement.

Defense will have to find a way to stop Titus and his felon teammate.

There's no way we beat Northern, Akron or BGSU. We may beat Miami and Buffalo and possibly Western but that puts us at 6-6. No bowl game and yet we have 8 returning defensive starters. Sad. When is basketball season?

First and goal at the 5, we kick a fg. Crappy teams do stuff like that.

A reverse to start the game. The Offensive Co-Ordinator should have been fired after that play. I have no problem running a reserve after you see how they are rushing, being over aggressive etc but that goes down as the dumbest waste of a play I have ever seen to start a game. I turned it off at 14-0 when our QB couldn't get the ball within 5 yards of a receiver. I can't totally blame the QB since he obviously isn't gifted with a strong arm by why again is the Offensive Co-Ordinator throwing deep balls into the wind with a guy that doesn't have that ability.

Ohio's offense looks terrible. I am afraid it will never be great until there is a change in the offensive coordinator. It's pathetic.

Seriously, even after the fumble return, the first words out of my mouth were "Three plays and a field goal". like clockwork. Sorry, scoring points on Idaho and EIU doesn't mean squat. We've played three teams with a pulse and all three have completely shut us down. This offense might be worse than the 94 Cats.

Ok, not quite, but it's starting to look that way.

Ok, not quite, but it's starting to look that wtay.

24 NET YARDS in a half! They may give the 94 Team a run for their money.

Somehow still in this game?

Hard for me to hear that we play physical. We get beaten badly in the trenches on both sides of the ball. One unit is young and one is experienced. For the first, i say, playing this many true frosh in the O-line at the 1A level is a recipe for disaster. it is turning into that. For the 8 returning D-players...if they weren't good last year they aren't any better this year. It is starting to look like that 4-8 year I was afraid of. Disappointing and I still hope I am wrong!

Really struggling. However, as bleed-green fan, I believe we'll make adjustments at halftime and actually make this a game. I'm feeling better that we got three stops on them in a row. I agree with those who think Bass doesn't belong in the game. With all the so-called depth we have at all positions, there has to be someone who can defend the pass and run a little faster than Bass. Too bad Wells is hurt; we could use him back there.

Sorry bleeding green, I do as well but you have been wrong my friend. We did the opposite of what you expected. We have come out and allowed Central Michigan to easily move downfield on us. We have continued to play with NO TOUGHNESS! It started last year with TT and has continued. I truly do hate to say this but it's the coaching staff's fault for not instilling a toughness and a football mentality to hitting and playing hard. How the heck is Basham so much worse? On that last Rawls touchdown run we had five guys in pursuit and he outran EVERY SINGLE ONE! This is sad for me to say it but it is time for Frank to retire. It is time to get rid of the coordinators. It is time to hand this program, that still can be amazing, to a young, Groce-like football coach. We have Saul in basketball. It's time to excite the fan base again. Put Frank in our Hall of Fame, laude him for his many accomplishments but it's time to move forward.

Those were some great adjustments. We just got steamrolled by a better prepared more physical team. I just think this run of ours is over. we need new blood somewhere.

WOW! We just wasted our only great play of the game! And don't we have other running backs? Why isn't Brown getting a shot? Why aren't we burning Irons and Duckworth's redshirts? I know some of you are going to say we shouldn't do that at this point but we are still in this thing and we are still a solid team if we can get an offense. I can't believe we were all fooled by wins over HORRRRIBBLLE teams. Come on Frank...give us Irons and Duckworth.

Well, I stand corrected. Damn. Is it me, or is Sprague doing his impersonation of don't-think-I'll-run Tettleton today? But I don't think it's completely out of hand yet. ...yet
