Did anyone else catch the graphic about the Charlotte center where it said it was his 6th season at Ohio? Guess that can happen when they ripped off our uniforms. Musta confused the graphics guys.
Yes, I saw that. Left me scratching my head.

Wonder if one of those big corporations in Charlotte will come through with buyout money if needed? One game does not a season make, but boy UNCC looked downright Kent State-level awful, and TA had that deer-in-the-headlight look that we saw so often in his first year as HC at Ohio and occasionally thereafter.

Looking at their schedule I only see about 3 wins. The irony of the whole thing is that his "so called nemesis" has taken a job elsewhere and based on Thursday night's Bobcat showing, a second consecutive MAC title is not out of the question.

When I was hiring new reps, one of the things I tried to ascertain was if they were running to something or from something. The latter didn't often turn out well.

Maybe he can still call Cromer from time to time to get some more public speaking guidance?

As angry as I was with Albin, I like to think I've reached a level of maturity where I don't wish bad things for people I don't like.

With one exception.

Albin just benched his starting QB. Through 3 quarters in game 1. Going with the back-up down 24.

Things are going well, folks.
Timmy forgot QB is the most important position in college football.

Coach Smitty recruited Navarro when Smitty was at Hawaii. When Parker entered the portal at UCF they reconnected.
Didnt know that! Nice little tidbit.

I was definitely very angry about the way Albin left when it happened, but I don’t personally wish anything bad for him.

Doesn’t mean I can’t have a laugh at his expense and still point out how stupid his decisions were or how stupid it is the think Charlotte is a better program than us.

I got nothing against Albin. It'll just be fun when he flames out at Charlotte, our program has continued next-man-up success, and 1996 shuts up forever.

That would be a real bonus! But, I suspect he'll be back as soon as he figures out a new set of talking points.

I think 96 single handedly turned the heat up on Albin here. Without him, I don't think we would be to the point of celebrating his failures.

I think he made a dumb career move, and I still struggle to make sense of it. He also left in a shitty way. But he did a really great job with our program and have no reason to think he can't do that with Charlotte.

It’s a shame Bobcat1996 has moved back to Twitter to defend his friend Tim. He was complaining on there that Charlotte doesn’t have enough money to compete. He’s the reason I made an account and I have to say I miss him.

Following him on Twitter-X, do you have any insights into who exactly he (or she) might be? The speculation here has run the gamut from an OBC/NIL fundraising chief to Albin's wife, and even his dog.

He’s the co-founder of the 1804 sport collective. He spent the weekend with other Ohio donors on the Charlotte sideline.

Tim should keep his head up, he’s now had only the second most embarrassing debut performance by a new coach in the state of North Carolina.

Schmitz and Taylor looking like they would rather have been in NJ last night than being throttled by a Sunbelt team.
They will really regret that move by mid-season, maybe sooner.

Unless they're getting more NIL $$ and that's their priority. If so, they wouldn't be the first or last.

Wake Forest 10, Kennesaw 9 was also in the running.

Albin will either turn it around quick or it will be wait til next year. Problem is around Game 4 when seniors with a redshirt available start thinking about greener pastures elsewhere and hit the portal mid-season. He didn't recruit for a youth movement. He recruited experience to win right away.

I still think he’ll do a good job down there, but the App St game was 👀

Jordon Hudson vs. Brooke Albin (Bobcat1996) this Saturday. Jordon was on the sideline last week and conferred with Bill at one point. Will Bobcat1996 do the same?

The Fighting Timmies have about 100 yards of offense vs the UNC team who gave up 550 last week.

Hate to see it.

Well, App State is awesome this year. For example, today they… uhhh…uhhh…beat Lindenwood 20-13. That's not even a joke. Lindenwood. I don’t think I’ve ever even heard of them.

They've been D1 FCS for several years now.

Ohio hockey plays against them occasionally.

they had a really good ceramics program until a few years ago when one of their coeds was killed in a kiln explosion.
