Hillary going to jail, we must have some Benghazi watchdog's on our board. That is like betting Kent State will win the MAC next year. However, they do have a chance of beating us without JJ, Wells, Bass, Nelson, Heitzman, and Vick. Solich better seriously have something up his sleeve if he wants to be mediocre next year.

You apparently haven't been keeping up the FBI probe of email-gate.

Can we just keep focused on the original point of this thread -- the bat problem in Athens?

Good idea. Monroe was the first one to interject politics. I just responded to his inappropriate slam. Unfortunately, this is a typical scenario. I virtually never initiate these dustups but I won't let his diatribe stand unchallenged. If no one else makes a political comment in this thread, I won't either. Deal?

I work for the government, she is not going to jail. She will get reprimanded for sending emails of a sensitive nature that she should have recognized as being classified. If they are not labeled as classified, you have not broken the law. These crackpot theories probably don't belong on this site, but explain the rationale of some of our fans.

If you think someone of Hillary'stature and connections is going to jail and don't think that you buy into false, looney, lunatic fringe thinking, I can't help you.

Newsflash! Maxwell averaged 100 yards per game passing last year. There is absolutely now way that he is better than Vick and our heads are in the clouds. Come on!

We'll see. You guys have come around to my point of view that Irons will be very good. Maybe in time I'll be proven right on Maxwell, too. The facts that Maxwell played on a horrible team, and didn't throw the ball that often, do mean that he will take longer to be ready to play at the FBS level, but they don't mean that he can't turn out to be very good. He clearly has the physical stature to play. The question is how he continues to develop his skills.

Ohio Cat Fan merely minding his own business and posting about our beloved Bobcats responds to a post someone else wrote about former Sec of State Hillary Clinton. It is then suggested he is a "crackpot." Then we we are told nothing will happen to her by someone who works for the government. The powers that be give us a "video theory" on the "Benghazi tape" and also label ISIS the "JV Squad." After watching the Paris coverage tonight I can assure you, Ohio Cat Fan is not the "crackpot."

Nobody is a crackpot, I said crackpot theory. None of us are stupid, but we all do stupid things. isis is nothing and could be wiped out in a weekend by the US military, but we chose not to hold territory and do nation building because when you leave, isis is what happens. Can a leopard change his spots? No. Once people in that region determine they don't want isis around, they will be exterminated, hence they have lost a third of their territory since the airstrikes and occasionally they are able to put together a desperate attack, but they are on the run and life is no longer good for them. If you read certain crackpot narratives, you don't understand that because you are not looking through the lens that they bury over 100 fighters per week, while we bury none. You want to talk politics, first know what you are talking about.
I am a former soldier and government worker. If an email is marked classified or for your use only you have to encrypt it, but if they are not labeled classified, you can respond or forward them. In Hillary's case she could not received encrypted or classified emails because she did not have an encrypted server, so in order to send her a classified email, you would have to send it unencrypted, which you can do, but you IS will find out and then you would be in hot water. She did receive emails that should have been probably classified, but were not and she should have used much better judgment.
Back to football, L.C, I hope Maxwell is great, I just want us to bring in some competition, just in case he is not.

As Nixon learned, no one is above the law. If the FBI says an indictment is warranted and the justice department doesn't follow through, then you will see resignations from the FBI that will be reminiscent of the Saturday Night Massacre. You are too young to know what that was unless you studied the history of Watergate. Stature means nothing in this matter, and it certainly shouldn't. I have faith that the law will be applied in the same manner it was to General Petraeus, who according to some committed many fewer violations of federal law than Hillary has. Just don't be too smug in your liberal safe space.

General Petraus sent emails that were labeled classified, Hillary's were not. It is not even a criminal investigation. http://www.bloomberg.com/politics/articles/2015-07-24/cli...

Allen, yes let's concentrate on football and our beloved Bobcats. Thankfully, we live in a nation where we can agree to disagree, though this probably isn't the place to go into our political beliefs. However, please don't tell me that I don't know what I am talking about, it is just plain silly. While I live a comfortable life now, it wasn't always that way. I was born into a military family on a US base far from these shores. I grew up in a working class town north of Columbus, I left Athens with a BA and MA in History and Political Science.

I come here as a diversion from the ups and downs of daily life. However, I do reserve the right to defend another Bobcat poster whose world view isn't shaped by those media gatekeepers in DC, NYC and Hollywood, whose only religion is to kneel with awe and wonder at the feet of the powers that be who currently reside at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. I prefer to have a more rounded view and rely on the experience of those family and friends in the military who currently reside in DC or the Middle East. I might even take some cues from the news organization headed by our esteemed alum Roger Ailes, which I know might make those who worship at the feet of the DC, NYC and Hollywood glitterati cringe. Now back to football!

Fair enough cbus cat fan, football is always better than politics. I probably should not have used the term crackpot, I should have said the term stretch, classified leakage can get you locked up. Sorry Ohio Cat FAN if I offended you Go Cats!

We can all make our own arguments on the fate of Hilary. There is 1 thing we know for sure, this investigation with her and her estranged husbands long history of questionable activities has caused the American population to question her trustworthiness, truthfulness, and character more than ever. This drip drip story will follow her all the way through the election cycle. It seems every week or so we there are additional documents that are released that calls her judgement into question. The current polls are clearly showing that the American public has rated her very low on trustworthiness.
For my 2 cents I believe that the American public & the democratic party is getting tired of the Clinton's due to all their shenanigans. It's been over 20 years in which they have seemed to be able to exert their power and influence on the party.

Again, this isn't about politics per se. It's about having a perception of reality that is reasonable.

Thinking Hillary will be jailed and is not currently the favorite in polls is to ignore reality. Thinking that Solich has done a good job lately is, similarly, to hold a perspective that is not supported by the facts.

OCF--We'll see what time holds on the political results and results of this season and Solich's ability to MACC.

Probe on Hillary widening as FBI looks into whether she lied to federal investigators and faces possible charges for breaking a variety of other statutes:

The funny thing is, how you feel about Solich seems to reflect your politics. At least from what I can tell.

We need a social scientist to explain to us why that might be.

When you cite bad sources, it makes you look like a wack job, it makes you sign up to be a Benghazi watchdog and you pay and get nothing in return. When you watch bad football it can make you elevate mediocre football. It seems that we have fans that have done both. The truth is that the program is slowly regressing, we are a top 80-85 team and with our campus and support we should be a top 40 program. The coaches need to get it together and they can't get it together if the fan base does not demand it. The coaches and kids deserve better, lets go Cats. Btw, dailmail.uk.com and breitbart are probably the worst sites to go to. It is like believing in a Glenn Beck prophecy. As kids we believed in monster's as we grow up most come to find monsters are not real. I am speaking to the few that never got it monsters are not real, they were created to scare us and entertain us, lol. Remember that always and it will save you money, you will never be a Benghazi watchdog again, you will know that it is just entertainment.

No, the Huffington Post, Salon and Slate are among the worst sources you could cite. See, two can play the I don't believe it because I don't like the source game. In this particular case it is clear that Hillary has potentially violated a series of U.S. laws that could put her in serious legal trouble. You can disregard these stories if you like and compare them to your favorite bogeyman but that won't make the FBI investigation go away and it won't influence their conclusions. I trust the FBI will do the right thing and will be fair. Time will tell what their conclusions are, but don't be too smug in thinking you've got it all figured out.

One thing you said earlier is not true. Hillary is responsible for classified information that she might have made vulnerable to hacking regardless of how it might have been marked at the time.
