The telecast of this game totally reminds me of why I left Time Warner Cable. Unfortunately that is the feed that ESPN3 is using today! More "technical difficulties" and messed up video feeds than any game this year! I hate TWC!

Throwing into triple coverage and an int. Not good.
After the interception last week on a fade route, I'd start doing something else

We are ahead at half. I'll take it.

Bo is a RB.

Terrible momentum killer in last series when we had them on their heels. Who calls these plays?

Are the plays emailed in to Russ from radio listeners?

"Who calls these plays?" The same guy who called them while the Bobcats produced a MAC leading 100 first downs in the first four games. There are two other things to consider, either less than stellar execution or credit to Miami. Probably we are seeing a combination of the last two.

Come on Bcat... our offense is a paper tiger right now. 37 points against GW isn't going to impress anyone and our redzone issues continue today. we have a lot to prove yet. Not saying we can't or won't, but we haven't really done anything convincing offensively.

and after we had Irons really starting to roll downhill on that first drive of half 2, I can't believe we went to a straight drop on first down, totally killing the drive with a sack. That was a terrible, terrible idea.

Playing not too loose bro. I hear you but the last drive was just not good.

2 score game. Give me 1 more TD and he can take a knee every play and punt if he wants.

With 9:09 left in the game, we are 7/17 passing. That means that each time the ball is thrown, it's more likely to be incomplete than caught (by someone on our team). How...how does that happen in the 21st century

Maleek, Windham, and Sebastian will give us plenty of offensive punch. Rumor has it that Dorian may be better than "questionable". Key is whether our DBs can handle their big receivers. Oxford has a decent little Brewpub by the way, nothing like Jackie O's, but good for Oxford.
I stand corrected. OL not getting much push, Windham off all day.

Conservative play calling may cost us a W. The defense has been great, I hate to put all of the pressure on them.

Miami frosh QB had a terrible mistake on Robbins' TD.

However, he was the best QB in Oxford, OH, today.

How about that, bcat2, someone giving the opposition some credit (backhanded as it might be).

Miami's D was better than I expected, but it's also pretty clear our health is not where it needs to be to make a successful MAC run.

10 offensive points on I think 7 trips inside the 40. No matter how good the offense is, we are not winning a conference championship with offensive production like that.

But it's yet another year of confirmed suckage out of Oxford, and that is always a good thing.

(Go Flashes....currently up 17-10 on Kron midway through the 3rd quarter)

A win is a win, and this was the game I expected to be the hardest one in the East, since it was on the road against an improving (insert fictitious birdname) team. The defensive front seven is what I thought it would be, and the secondary is improving each week.

As you said, Akron and scored, so that's 17-17, but BG trails 21-17 to EMU in the fourth.

This better be our worst offensive game of the year or we are in big trouble...

2.9 yds per offensive play

less than 200 yds in offense

fortunately Miami had 99 yards in penalties

fortunately Miami turned it over 4 times

we were lucky on the targeting call or non call

I would say Miami LOST the game...not so sure we won the game

Defense was lights out and picked up a lack-luster offense today. We won the turnover and penalty battle as well. We stick to that formula and I really like our chances.

When we go to the Glass Bowl in several weeks for a Thursday night matchup with Toledo, we better have our offense figured out and clicking by then, otherwise the Rockets will hang 60 on us with no problem. "Playing not to lose" against an 0-5 team may be one thing, but playing the way we did this afternoon against Toledo will gain us nothing but embarrassment on national TV.

Nice to go to an away game and see a win, but holy God is the gameday production in Yager Stadium annoying. The finish of EVERY play is met with canned pop or dubstep music. They must have played 60 different songs and their band may have played 10 times from the stands.
