Sorry, but if my front 7 on d is totally solid but I'm worried about the back end...then I let the front seven loose.

Lotsa different type of pressures, blitzes.

Not us. We're very contain, playing to physical power with no finesse, no strategy, no different looks.

Let 'em loose!

Geez, even our defense is boring.
Again, I interrupt, just temporarily, this rant, with a factoid:

http://www.espn.com/college-football/statistics/team/_/st...

Your factoid is that we're 2nd in the nation in sacks to Ohio State.

Clearly, this proves that we're the second best team in the nation, right after Ohio State.

At least we're not picking a splinter metric that doesn't prove anything here.
Of course, Ohio doesn't have the second-best pass rush in the nation, but I'd say that number at least shows it's pretty effective the way it is.

Yes, fan.....but the comments, which they are entitled too, are negative. I understand the fans just want a winning season, but I don't think the team wants a losing season. Some of the things I am reading, are direct jabs.....JMT

You're absolutely right, those are not the only 2 options....sometimes it's just called passion and excitement.....Let them have that.....JMT

Who shows today? Been a while since we have stepped up with our backs against it.

Not sure how long it's been but I'm thinking BG Game for East Title?

Sadly it seems we fold in the heart of the season more times than not. That's on the coaches in my opinion. Need to prove something today. Change the past and make this happen for the Seniors who hope to play for a title!

The excitement seems to be gone from this board and many are looking for hoops. I got tired of that being the same old story for 20+ years. It's still football season for me. Hoops will be there soon and expect this to be a fantastic year.

C'mon boys!

Bobcat fans on this board have gotten spoiled. Wasnt that long ago Ohio was happy with a 4/5 win season. Finishing .500 was the Bowl Game. Step it up because those days could return

He still has to hold on to the rock, but I agree, you need some air after a 60 yarder. His hamstring is still not 100%, as the line creates holes, we should see plenty of big runs from him, Brown and Oulette over the next few years.

Too many fumbles by tailbacks this year, period.

It's pretty common for a tailback who racks up big yardage to get rewarded with the opportunity for the short TD. That should not mean a fumble at this stage of football. If he's too tired, he needs to tap his helmet and get out.

If you draw attention to yourself for lack of playing time, you better know how to hold on to the football son.

10 point swing and Kant gets the ball at half.

Go after Fabio in the 2nd half. Dude can't throw out the trash.

There have been three fumbles, lets stop with the lies. The running backs have faved 8 man fronts all year and have been more productive. Three fumbles in 7 games is phenominal. We are one of the the leaders in turnover margin.

120 yards of penalties with more than a quarter to go.

Kent has one offensive threat and we are unprepared for him.

Blair Brown's act is growing tired. Every week with this guy. Total joke. Never gets reprimanded by coaches. Terrible

Time to play to win now. The kid threw one int, don't be afraid to throw to a wide receiver.

Somehow we turned what should have been a 21-0 halftime lead into a 14-10 bore-o-thon.

It's hard to think we almost lost 22 on 2. Us versus the Holley Brothers. Now they play with some intensity.

Dorian Brown is a man. Congrats to him.

Win is a win. Right?

Rules questions:
1. In first half, our #8 gets called for offensive pass interference. White gets free for the reception, but it is called back. On the replay, I did not see the foul. #8 appears to block two DBs allowing White to go free. What's the infraction?
2. B. Brown gets called for personal foul for late hit to the QB. On replay, he appears to pull up, and it looked like there was no helmet-to-helmet contact. Also, the same play we are flagged for, I think, sideline interference. Both carried a 15 yard penalty and both were assessed for a 30-yard penalty. Never seen that before, not that I recall. Was that correct?

Dorian had a great game. We have to pass the ball down the field more.

Boring. We somewhat escaped with a win over a team with no offense at all, a quite bad team.

Consensus in the chat room is certainly that it's all stale here.

Was it Albin or Burrow who's supposed to de-clutter to get ready for the sale?

Kent State QB Nick Holley accounted for 260 of the 264 total yards that Kent had. One other person ran the ball for positive yardage on run plays.

And Ohio only wins 14-10.

My. God.
