Lots of questionables as expected. McCray is out after concussion last week.
Nice to see Windham listed as probable. Would have been nice to have him at CMU to give Maxwell a reset like he did vs. Toledo.

If there's 4k in the house, they will be the most die-hard of our fans, so the atmosphere might actually be better than the lame-ass home crowds we've had this season.
Temple 2009. Day after Thanksgiving, MAC East on the line, cold as a witch's teet, maaaaybe 10,000 butts in the stands, and the place was rocking.

Gettin' excited. Go Bobcats.
Still my favorite Bobcat win ever.
Could that have been Theo's best game?

At this point the injury situation is a factor for both teams. For Akron, who will play QB? For Ohio, who will play running back, and who will play corner? Papi seems to be the only healthy running back, but Irons or Brown will probably try to go. At corner, Ohio started the year with no one who had played even a single down, and has three on that list. I'm guessing the corners will be Miller, Nelson, and Mayne Williams.

Seems to me, CMU heavily targeted Nelson. His coverage on the final touchdown was very tight. Just an incredible catch by the CMU TE. Not much anyone can do about that. I wonder, though, if Akron will also target Nelson?

Had Nelson turned his head he had a chance to defend it. He's had nasty habit of not turning to find the ball at times this season

Sure. But easier said than done. That was a bang-bang play. Not much time to react at all. Nelson was right on him, and the catch was otherworldly.

Jeff...explain please? You can't be defending the many "fake" fans in that section? Not a ton but enough to keep everyone from a real college football atmosphere.

What exactly is a real college football atmosphere? If we don't have that at OU does that also mean that the MAC doesn't play real college football? Just need a little clarification on definitions.

Not what I meant, Allen. Talking about fans on the Tower Side in Section 106. I was finally able to experience the situation this year and confirm the situation. I certainly consider OHIO Sports to be real.

Go to a game at Ohio State, or Michigan. BIG BIG difference in atmosphere! Note, I'm NOT saying Ohio and the MAC doesn't play real football. Obviously they do. But the "ATMOSPHERE" itself at OSU/Michigan, etc. is much different. The students are pregaming at 8:00 am on Saturday (not that there's anything wrong with that!) :)

Totally agree. Hopefully Windham gets some snaps and is able to contribute to the running game.

CMU seemed to plan for our qb runs....as would any team that's read our stats or seen any game film on us at all.

I'm guessing he meant those fans will "stand up and cheer" for the 110... but they sit silently during the football game as if they're at a movie theater and they get angry if you talk during the feature presentation.

Yes, atmosphere at Peden is typically lacking. Every once in a while intensity turns up. Tonight should be one of those, but it's doubtful. Blame mid week MACtion. If this was Saturday, packed house and great vibe. Tonight will feel like a hs volleyball match

But a national TV audience.

If we ever have a worthy team, you'll be happy that all eyes of the nation can watch.

And, local crowds will be alright...and involved.

If Windham is 80% I think he needs to see the field. It's Senior night and maybe he can get us a TD. We can't keep having these fumbles.

It's been a decade with this coaching staff and this is the best they can recruit talent-wise ? It's getting to be completely unacceptable at this point.

It may not be a lack of talent. Just some seriously predictable and unimaginative play calling. This is painful to watch.

Not sure but I think we had 30 total yards in Q3. Guess Windham isn't ready to go physically or he'd have been out there. We've had great field position in the 3rd quarter.

If Maxwell pitches the ball it's an easy 6. His decision making is so bad.

2 straight plays where Akron should have 30 yard TD passes (from their WR). Is Ellis hurt because he seems to be jogging behind on most plays while a WR runs right past him.
