They have to put together 2 great drives at least. Plus they need the defense to make a stop. Given how the offense has looked in the 2nd half, plus how badly the defense has played tonight, i’d say that last TD puts them in a spot they may not be able to get out of.

Akron has lost 2 defensive starters yet looks like a different team holding OU without a td so far in the 2nd half. Gotta get 6 on this drive to give them a shot

Not only did the failure to go for the 4&1 on the goal line ultimately comeback to haunt the Cats, but on this drive they shot themselves in the foot by knocking off a cool 5 and a half minutes off the clock.

Sorry, I’m more upset about the inside zone run on 2nd and 9 right after it didn’t work on 1st and 10 with 3:45 on the clock. I just cannot wrap my head around what just happened

There was a hole wide enough to drive a semi through on the right side of the line. Rourke should have kept it.

Could have been inside zone by design rather than a read. My guess it had to be designed because he usually reads it well
