Here's another highlight video that lists him as a PG. He shows a nice ability to break the defense down and drop the ball off to the post players using his height advantage over other guards.

Hm, having troubles embedding a tweet. He tweeted this from his account (kcrute22):

25 for my first game back from cancer is not that bad.

And I like how the first three in that series the commentator refers to "Ohio Bobcats, not Ohio State...."

Difficult to find season stats.  His team is ranked #4 in the state for private schools.  They lost a tournament final recently.  He was high scorer with 17.  Appears to score in bunches.

Last few games for Kendall:
Scores 11 of his 18 in final quarter (including 3 3s) - team comes back from 14 down, but loses by 1.
Scores 13 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists in blow out win
Scores 15 of his 18 in 3rd quarter to put game away in win.  Also had 5 steals.

When you consider the good seasons L-Tech and USM (who both offered Crute) this signing is a little extra impressive.

Doesn't seem like there should be any concerns about Crute wanting out of his LOI after this tweet during national title game.

With as good of a shooter as Crute is, gotta think he fits with Saul considering NDSU had the highest FG% in the nation last year.

I know many players recruit to coaches and not schools, but I do not understand how ANY recruit cannot fall in love with this campus on a visit. Athens, OH=Best place ever.

I agree about recruits coming to OU and falling in love but remember, if you're not used to a rural area, it might be a culture shock at first. I look at something like our football stadium and The Convo when I think about mindblowing parts of our campus. A Kent friend and I travel to different arenas and stadiums in the MAC and some are just pathetic. How does Dambrot sell Kron? How does any player who sees the Convo and then goes to Kent's pathetic little high school gym even compare?

Ohio does have the best arena in the MAC and after the renovations and perhaps a new practice facility, oh baby!!  But as to football and Peden Stadium, Infocision Stadium is A LOT better.

Agreed. it doesn't matter how many shrubs we plant, our stadium is bottom half of the MAC. It's just not a good stadium.

You haven't traveled much. There are some real dumps (Ball State, BGSU, EMU, Buffalo) out there. We are top 3-4 in my opinion, even though that's not saying much in the MAC.

Kendall has a great shot - he's going to fit in great with Saul ball.  Now stop with the stadium crap.
