Catfan - I don't see your logic in your statements!  Have you been under (concession area) of the student side of Peden?  Talk about a dump!  It can't get worse than that.  Doesn't EMU have a new stadium?  BG's stadium isn't what I would call a dump and having been to Ball State - I can't say anything but the fact, it is pretty nice.  I can't say anything about Buffalo as I have never been there.
What is your rationale for calling these stadiums dumps?

Saul mentioned that Crute is still in 100%. Great to hear, of all of our recruits he's the one that plays the position we need the most right now.

I could see him stepping in and playing right away similarly to how Nick did in his Freshman season.

Well, we have threads hijacked a lot around here...so we aren't going to delete, etc., but please keep this thread  to discussion of issues related to Kendall Crute.

BTW, I am very, very happy to hear that Kendall is still planning to attend Ohio.

Say it isn't so!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Where else could you hope to learn so much in the midst of a recruitment?

I am glad Crute is on board. SOunds like all  but Owens may be on board. ....

Sweet. Got room for a guard and some.

Agree on both points.

According to his twitter account, it is officially a done deal. If I missed this confirmation on another page, I apologize.

Agreed. it doesn't matter how many shrubs we plant, our stadium is bottom half of the MAC. It's just not a good stadium.

You haven't traveled much. There are some real dumps (Ball State, BGSU, EMU, Buffalo) out there. We are top 3-4 in my opinion, even though that's not saying much in the MAC.

Ball State recently underwent major renovations. Their stadium, while small, seems to have aesthetic advantages over Peden. I also think EMU's stadium is pretty good. They suffer from still having a track, and they suffer from having no fans, but going just based on the stadium? Rynearson is better. BG is also better than Peden, color of the bleachers excepted. Not huge but still looks like a college football stadiium. Can't comment on Buffalo - that might be the one place with a more awkward seating configuration than Peden.

Edit: apologies for being way off topic here. Welcome to OHIO, KC!

I think it's really ironic that Bryant has signed Kendall's teammate, a 3 star PG this year. Sure seems like we could have used him too.

Maybe he wanted to be closer to O'Shea's aging parents.

Seems to have a higher shot release than the other 2 new sg/sf guys.  With his shooting and passing ability we could see a bunch of 3 guard sets this year. It also seems that he could play the point in a pinch.....me likey.

After looking at Laster it seems his release is high as well....not so sure about Taylor.

Good passing ability is a plus at any position and will really be helpful when Stevie's off for a breather.
