I would think so, unless he's graduating.
He’s NOT graduating!
I figured not. Three years for a guy at two schools doesn't make that too likely. So it sounds like a drop in divisions or he's going to sit out another season and just have one left to play.

Poor kid, he needs to be coached, 2 years to go and it feels like the clock is working against him. I don’t know if you can teach a better jump shot and better court vision in that time. I love to see Players with big school offers that commit to smaller schools, they are so talented that they have to be on the floor and if they are coach able and have a good coach they can become great. I hate to see kids take the biggest offer and get lost in the sauce. If you are a 4 star with a hole in your game, don’t commit to Kentucky, you will never play. Preston is like Jaaron, he is very talented, and now he is being coached. He needs to works on his release, do staying at Ohio and accepting good coaching should get him a legitimate shot to play NBA basketball. BVP is also in the right place, he needs to work on his perimeter defense and shooting and he should have a shot as well. TK didn’t get the coaching or accept the coaching, now he needs to make a great decision on where next to play just to get a chance to play in Europe.

BVP and Kirk do not have a prayer to make it to the NBA and never did. Mountains would have to be moved for them to even get on a summer league roster. That's how good the NBA is. Jason Preston is the only player on our roster who has any chance.

Teyvion Kirk should not have to sit out. What matters to the NCAA is the time spent sitting out since you last played.

What about TK coming back as a 3 for us? Tell me a starting lineup of Pres, mcday, bvp, roderick and TK would be stoppable in transition? I think Boals could coach TK. I am only a 1/4 serious here!!! Just fun to think about!

For Kirk, I thought he was on pace to being an A league player in Europe, or D league. He could have been like an Ike Nwamu type.

Buffalo's Jayvon Graves has declared for the draft. Still has the option to come back to Buffalo if he pulls his name out by a certain date.

Story in the Zanesville Times Recorder today about this. Mentions has had contact from Ohio. Sounds like he made some bad choices at Marshall and was released from his scholarship. May go Division II or Juco for a year in pursuit of a high major offer.

If Springs and McMurray stay put and we have the one schollie left I just do not think B-H is a good play here. We have 2 yrs (1 for sure) of Jay Pres and BVP. We need a 2 year guy as in a JUCO or a grad with 2 yrs like Seth Towns has. We have a real chance to win a MAC title next year with the right signing. Go get'em Coach Boals!!!!

Jalen Tate and Tre Cobbs both leaving Northern Kentucky.

Tate is immediately eligible. All-Ohio Red family, recruited by Ohio out of high school but we never offered him. Averaged 13 ppg, 5 rpg and 3 apg.

This article says we've reached out.

https://247sports.com/college/basketball/recruiting/Artic... /

Cobbs is another Ohio kid out of Lima.

Well, what is the consensus, does the young man having sat out one season already, have to sit out another or can he switch universities as he has done and play first semester or second semester? Or does he have to sit out the entire season and play in 2021/22?

From the NCAA website:
"If you transfer from a four-year college to an NCAA school, you must complete one academic year in residence at the new school before you can play for or receive travel expenses from the new school, unless you qualify for a transfer exception or waiver."

Unless he gets some kind of hardship waiver, he has to sit out again.

In other words, if he was going to a big 10 school or an ACC school, he wouldn't have to sit out a year?

UIC? Tough luck TK.
