Boogie Fland is a unanimous first round NBA guy and he went in the portal, possibly for some leverage in his draft or something. Lubin at UNC went in the portal for like 24 hours before withdrawing.

My favorite last minute portal entry is 6-7 wing Jyare Davis from Syracuse

10/5 and shot 43% on triples last season.

Looking at this tweet, it could also indicate they made it through portal season without losing any other players. I guess we'll see.

As I said in an earlier post, I think UMass will be the favorite to win the MAC next year. They seem to be doing very well in recruiting. This small forward looks like a first-team MAC player, and those two BigMANZ recruits signed earlier also look at least first-team MAC caliber.

Yea, I wasn't sure what to expect from UMass with a mass exodus and coming from the A10. Martin (who himself is a factor), has done a solid job reloading for the MAC. Has to mesh, but UMass will is bringing size and experience.

If there was ever a time for us having the ability to play bigger, it's now.

Cool that Frank Martin is in the MAC and I hope we get a home game with UMass. One of my favorite current coaches and a guy with A+ sideline rage.

Kent State has landed Dezmon Briscoe out of Indianapolis. Verbal Commits lists him as a 4 Star with offers from the likes of Xavier, DePaul, Iowa, WVU, Nevada and Butler.

Knowing nothing about him, that's a huge pickup for the MAC if he pans out to be that good.

Not just Kent, but around the MAC it seems a lot of youth is being recruited either HS or 3-yr kids in the portal.

In this day and age, is that playing with fire???

However, a lot of these HS recruits, like this kid Kent got, are the kind the MAC needs.
