Another newsflash to all… I know everybody loves numbers nowadays. Everything is critiqued and broken down into percentages. However, the one thing the percentages and the numbers leave out is who you are playing against. I am not taking sides. I’m simply saying that maybe when Pav is in the lane there aren’t two or three big guys in the lane. Maybe when Elliot was in the lane there were two or three big guys. Again, my point isn’t to either support or disrespect the numbers. It’s just that they’re not always the whole story.

UMass with two more JUCO adds, including Bo Outlaw’s kid. That makes three total + that top D2 guard it landed earlier in the portal season. Should be an interesting addition to the MAC next season.

Based on precedent, it will be someone completely off our (BA’s) radar. So (e) or (f).

(a) would be incredible, but highly unlikely.

Yea, I think it’s Dior or JR Konieczny of ND. Both are now following players/staff as if they’ve visited. Dior appears to be following more.

However and to Bobcat Tattoo’s point, known interest in our portal commits seems to go undocumented prior.

I wouldn't shoo-in Conners to start. He doesn't make much of a statistical impact beyond making threes. Not an assist guy, not a steals guy, not a rebound guy. But the three point numbers exceptional. I think we can fill in everywhere else with the other guards.

If it is Conners, we have replaced 96 career starts lost in the transfer portal with 191 careers starts. I don't know that I'd get hung up on who starts and who is the odd man out of the core six. They all should be 25+ minutes. And with our injury luck, that sixth man is probably starting a handful of games.
