Either Akron vs. Ohio or Akron vs. Kent State would be the fourth time that has been the finals matchup in MAC tournament history. I believe that it will be the first matchup to happen four times.

Well, Toledo would have gotten 13 seed at worst. I am not sure about everyone else. It depends on what else happens. It would be frustrating to have this many wins and end up with a 14 but with as many free wins as there were in the MAC (and we didn't get the final two easy ones) this year it could happen.

Wondering if Akron players/coaches/fans remember the aftermath of Kent's win in the JAR earlier this season.

Don't have a dog in this fight. Just hoping the AAC title game that precedes the MAC title game on ESPN2 doesn't go into an overtime or two.

Would Seneroff had gone after Carry last off-season if Micheal Nuga hadn't transfered to UNLV? Nuga averaged around 18 last year.

I'll be honest i'm rooting for Akron tonight only because I had the pleasure of sitting in front of a really annoying Kent State student last night where his version of cheering on his team was jeering at Ohio and the refs the entire game. Got pretty annoying after 2 hours of it. I imagine he's probably not as vocal tonight.

Really shocking how Kent is turning the ball over and seems totally stifled by Groce's game plan. I remember a quote from a player while we were on the 2010 run...paraphrasing..."he will always put you in a position to win with the scout and the plan"

The double coming tonight was stifling and with contributions and shooting by guys in clutch situations is a direct contrast to last night where every possession looked labored....the walk it up and run the sets approach tonite looks way more settled

Kent found out what karma is. Taunting at Akron then the way they carry themselves, even outside of the stupid video, shows their lack of class. And I hate Akron!

Anyone wanna wager if Carry and Jacobs are both back next year? Both had breakout seasons. Sendy tends to lose guys like them to transfer up.

I'll throw in a 3rd ... a team that was 22-4 and lost 5 of the last 7. Say what you want about Sendy but they peaked when they needed to. We s*** the bed.
