Groce doing Groce.....it's March

Sendy doing Sendy.....

+1

Are there two bigger chokers in the league than Todd K and Sendy? Imagine ripping off 14 wins in a row and lose in the MAC championship and realize you might be joining Ohio in the CBI bracket. Yikes.

I'll throw in a 3rd ... a team that was 22-4 and lost 5 of the last 7. Say what you want about Sendy but they peaked when they needed to. We s*** the bed.
Yes, that's an excellent way to put it. I believe that this is my most frustrating season as a Bobcat fan. We've had seasons where we sucked and seasons where we excelled, but I don't remember a season (as distinct from a one-game hiccup) where we went from a great-looking team to one that was misfiring on several cylinders. There have been many plausible explanations offered here by the BA Elite for why this occurred, but it's nonetheless very frustrating for us average-Joe fans to watch.

Have to hand it to Akron. Their path in Cleveland couldn’t have been tougher. Buffalo, Toledo, and Kent. Well deserved championship for the Zips.

Have fun with UCLA. In San Diego to boot I think? Or maybe in Portland? Either way, yeesh.

I doubt Akron will get their first NCAA tournament victory against a strong UCLA team. Akron and NIU are the only teams in the MAC to never win an NCAA Tournament game.

I can agree with this too. It seems like other teams figured our system out in the end and found multiple ways to shut us down and exploit it. Hopefully if we get an TBC or CBI bid we take advantage of it to start the younger guys. No sense in playing the starters.

Totally disagree. BOBCATS BIG THREE were over achievers and produced an absolutely amazing record for the talent that surrounded them. We played each game 3 against 5. No offensive production from two players and a weak bench. Look at the Kent line score. OUr BIG three outscored their big three and OHIO lost because no one else contributed. That was the story of the season. yOUr 6th man is a 5'10" so so three shooter who was size disadvantaged on the boards. yOUr 2 guard who didn't produce offense was also a rebounding liability against Kent's taller guards. OUr expectations became too high because of the BIG THREE. OUr injured Wilson really wouldn't have helped much because he would have split minutes with one of the BIG THREE. We needed a Kellogg or a TJ Hall or a list of other consistent producers to give some support to the BIG THREE. How did OHIO not have a freshman guard in the class? God bless McDay, may his issues fade over time and may he lead a fruitful life.

That is an honest and accurate take. You may not have a lot of agreement but I think you are spot on with your analysis.
