The visiting locker room at Buffalo looks like something out of a middle school.

That was funny. I felt for him though, I don't like flying either and on those small planes? Ugh. My solution is to take a valium before boarding, but I don't think that's feasible for Walt.

Good episode.  Liked the flying segments.

Agree that the small planes are more disconcerting.  You seem to feel every bump.

I was thinking the exact same thing.  Is that really the visiting locker room?  I hope ours are not like that.  It was sad for a Divsion 1 school.

You should be more afraid of the drive to the airport than the plane ride. Planes are built to take those bumps and are not going to start falling apart.

I liken that to the study that says that Pit Bulls are less likely to bite than other breeds.  They may not bite as much but when they do...

I'm still going to take a valium before boarding.

Eh.  Not really.  On a per-mile basis, flying is considerably safer.  There are more fatalities when a crash DOES happen, sure, but overall you're still much safer.  There's a reason a plane crash -- even a small one -- makes national or international news.

COMPLETELY off topic, but this reminded me that one of the most hotly debated items at www.wildanimalfightclub.com/ is who would win in a fight between a bobcat and a pitbull.

Just watched the most recent All In to get me ready for the trip up to Cleveland this afternoon. It's been a really awesome show to watch. I can't say thanks enough to Evan and all his crew to get these things done. We're so lucky.

All of the unique-to-Athens coffee places in walking distance to the Convo, and Groce still goes to a chain inside a chain.

Another good episode, but I realized what my biggest critique of the series is. The audience is forced to accept things we're told and not shown. In the last episode, there was a shot of Ric studying on the bus with a tutor. Instead of Russ narrating that the guys are studying, I think it would be more interesting to hear from Ric. And not in the sit-down interview setting. A quick on-camera question on the bus - "Ric, what class are you studying for? Is there a test or project coming up? What are you majoring in?" Less telling us the story, more showing us the story.

But do the unique to Athens coffee places have convenient, un-metered parking?

Jumping back to the plane discussion....

Actually, even if you were one of those rare souls involved in a plane crash it is likely that you will survive...

Really?  You are going to judge the man based on his taste for coffee?   Donkey Coffee is amazing, but I don't think it's really a big issue where he buys a cup of coffee from.  Do you not want him conversing with the Athens community?  I admired the fact that he knows these people at Starbucks/Kroger by name and seems to make a good impression with the community.  But, I guess he should stay uptown and try to make conversation with the hipsters, who would only come to games if college basketball was like....not mainstream, dude.. or if we used vintage peach baskets.

I do agree about some of your views about the show though.  It's really awkward sometimes, especially when they talk about the players studying....I may be exaggerating, but it seems like every episode Russ says the same line about the players studying, as if we are about to see an inside-look at what it's like to be a student-athlete...but then there's just an awkward pause..brief shot at Ric on his ipad...then onto something else. If they can't show us too much of what the players do, then maybe let us get to know other people involved in Ohio Basketball that do the real "behind-the-scenes work" that make it all possible---grad assistants, assistant coaches, trainers, ball boys, ticket office, season ticket holders, equipment managers, and what about Kenny Belton?  He makes a difference in practice I'm sure and has a really interesting story that is ignored.   It is a great show, just a few things seem to be missing.  We were very spoiled by "Relentless"  =)  Oh and more cowbell please!

Haha, brilliant. Maybe that should be the new marketing campaign. I think there are more shoeless hipsters on campus than sports fans.

Relax, cowboy. It was just an interesting thing I picked up on. I had an "oh, hmm" moment.

I'm relaxed and my horse is at ease.  I just try to picture John Groce mingling with the crowd at Donkey (not that you said he should go there). I can't see it and I support Groce and his coffee snobbery.. I can be that way too sometimes.   I'm sure he could chat it up in there though, because he has an outstanding personality.  It would actually make All-In that much more awesome.  Groce wearing flannel, with a sweet fake mustache.  Ok, I'm done....back to the subject...
