Major contrast between football and basketball series.  Football was 90-95 percent about the players. "All In" is at least 50 percent about John Groce or Groce on camera giving his perspective rather than us seeing the players behind the scenes.  Not nearly as interesting in my opinion.  We're not even seeing the assistants.  Maybe that's the way Groce wants it.

Not complaining here, because no other school the size of OHIO gets this coverage, but I agree with SBH. Would like to see more behind the scenes and less game highlights. Again, it might be a Groce thing.

I thought about this when I watched them cutting down the net.

Or, at the very least, he can read name tags. Not sure if Ernie Zeigler can say the same...

Tomorrow night!

Not sure about the time though... the schedule I have says 7:30, but it said 7:30 last week too and the show actually came on at 9:30.

I thought it was done after 5 episodes (?) ...

Also, I liked the look into Coach Groce's morning last time... I can identify with that a bit more than what the kids are doing with their spare time. I mean, how much video of college students playing video games do we need? (and get the hell off my lawn!) Obviously this week will have plenty of stuff to cover.

Not sure, DCF... I'm going by this press release:

http://www.ohiobobcats.com/sports/m-baskbl/spec-rel/010912aab.html

It lists an episode for tomorrow night ... hopefully, it's a new episode and not a repeat.

I recall reading another release that said the last episode would revolve around the tourney and Selection Sunday, so it should be new content.

Seemed like there were lots of cameras at the selection show besides CBS, so I've got to think some were for All In.

Evan Shaw said on Facebook that he completed the episode sometime overnight, so there certainly is an episode due out today sometime.

first let me say a huge THANK YOU for all those involved with All In.

for those trying to draw comparisons to Relentless you've got to keep in mind some very important differences-  the Relentless ends with the first game, All In has 2 games/week to deal with. Also, Relentless takes place in the summer when the people in front of the camera and the people behind the camera don't have the distractions of classes, holidays, etc.

thanks again, great series!

I'll second perimeter's sentiment (don't look now but we're agreeing on something again:).

I had the privilege of meeting Russ and Rob on Saturday night after our win at Winking Lizard. Both are total class acts, and in my opinion, Groce isn't the only one who deserves a pay raise. Show these gentlemen some money. In talking with them, I learned that 'All In' is pretty much the work of 4 people. My thanks goes out to them, as it's been a great way to connect even further with this program.

And on another note, I spoke with DJs grandfather, Howard, for at least 20 minutes. What an awesome man. He will be in Nashville, and if you get the opportunity just go say hello to him. About the nicest guy you could know, and he has some great stories.

I'll agree again. Few schools at any level can enjoy the quality documentary work we've seen for both football and basketball this year. Everything has been first class -- both in terms of the games played and the coverage.

I think chiming in here is totally called for...

The work on these shows is incredible. If Kentucky or Duke had its own show this well done, it'd end up on ESPN or HBO. There can't be another school in the country that has video work this top-notch.

I sincerely hope the coaches in both sports are posting links to these shows so recruits see them. If I was a high school kid, I'd be blown away. Makes what we do in our little corner of the sports world seem really big-time ... which, to all of us fans, of course, it is.

Go Bobcats!

Major..major props to Evan Shaw and crew. The photography is simply incredible. The shots of the guys on the bench before the Akron game were just great.

If the last ALL IN doesn't give you goose bumps, I'm not sure what will.

Loved how the show ended on the floor after the selection show.

FINISH.

DON'T FLINCH.

GO BOBCATS.

BELIEVE IN GREEN!

Set your DVR for tonight.  There are a bunch of episodes airing in the wee hours, consecutively.  Could be all of them in a series perhaps.

Here's another question:  Would there be the possibility of acquiring All In on DVD after the season is over?  I wouldn't mind having that to look back on in 10 years.

1. There will be no more episodes (at least for this season).

2. Illinois fans have been watching the series and are very impressed.

+1 on the DVD. Being in Dayton I'm in Bungles/Deds country so I don't get STO. Would really like the opportunity to see this series.
