I'm totally confused at this point. I figured Groce is in Illinois and they were bringing him back. If he is in Illinois, there are two reasons for cancelling the flight: (1) they still need to talk about it, have Groce talk to the unhappy trustee/booster, etc.; or (2) the deal's off and they're telling him to find his own way back to Ohio.

Edit: Also, I think I may have just crossed over into the "dear lord, is the money really worth it to deal with this kind of mess on a daily basis?" camp.

Tough decision coming up...pick a guy with ties to OHIO and hope for a long and successful stay OR another bright assistant who fails or succeeds and is gone in 5 or less.  I sure would like to get the former...someitmes it's like we are the hampster going round and round!

My guess is done deal, details being worked on and presser tonight.
