No worries:

D.j Cooper @djcoop5

All this traveling gets tiring. But it's all good. Be back in Athens later

Although, does Mark Fox have an opening at UGA?!?!?!  (kidding)

You gotta be selfish to be successful in this world! Haha!

Its good that he's having fun with this. I can't imagine how I would have behaved if my every movement and facebook or AOL-away message* had been scrutinized during spring of my junior year, though I suspect not this at-ease.

*those being the pre-twitter days.

I have to admit that I read his twitter updates too but I have to think that if he knew every tweet was being posted and analyzed here he would be just a tad bit creeped out.

Del...people that post their tweets on the internet want them to be read.  I think Coop is just being Coop and enjoynig the limelight.  I think he'll be back if he is smart.

Cooper "I don't know him. I hear he's a good guy and has been really successful in the MAC, but that's about it at this point."

More Coop "I'm trying to make sure I'm doing everything I can to take care of my own future." Said he'd be back in Athens later today

And lastly from Coop "I'd rather not talk about that right now" when asked what looking out for his future meant.

I realize that.... but it still seems a bit overkill. Oh well. Hope he's back too.

People...just take a chill pill and let this process work out and let DJ make his decision.  You can't hang on every tweet.

(Sorry if that's "condescending", OCF!  )

When JSF mentioned Bradley, I believe he was referring to Jeremy Fears?

Sounds like from that last tweet that he may have made his decision.  So, maybe it's not condescending, but just a little bit behind the times!

Or perhaps he's going to declare for the draft, but just not hire an agent. Much like what Brandon Hunter did his junior year, it would allow for access to NBA scouts and talent evaluators who could give DJ some feedback on what he could work on, it would explain the recent jet setting and "looking out for my future" comments, and it would mean he'd pull his name out by the deadline and come back for his senior season.

It would make total sense, and it would even be a decent idea on his part.

John Lucas is based out of Houston - and now I am completely done with any speculation on this subject.  DJ - you have a good head on your shoulders.  I understand the interest in exploring.  But please comer back - own all the records and take us dancing again.

Thanks to changes in the rules, DJ won't really have much of a chance to "test the waters" anymore. The deadline for withdrawal has been moved up to April 10. It's absurd.

As much as I love to watch DJ and we would never have been this good with any other point guard he has zero chance of making it in the NBA. I 'm sure it's a life long dream of any good basketball player but how many actually ever make it to the NBA. Jamison was a top 10 pick and he couldn't even make it. If your 5'11 you have to have a lot better shot than DJ has to make it in the NBA. Offett has a much more balanced game and better size than DJ and his odds are probably no better than 10 % to make it at the next level.
