I hope every team has a player who talks trash to DJ. It's like an adrenaline shot for him.

This.  Coop should be in the trash talk Hall of Fame.

I just posted a thread on their board with a synopsis of the Bobcats and invited them to come over here.  Got a message that an administrator would have to approve before it showed though.

Looks like Walt is a game-time decision and TJ is out tomorrow.

What's wrong with Walt?

20 point favorite. Huge number and I'd probably take Ohio.

Really hope this isn't the start of anything nagging and persistent for Walt.

I was thinking the same thing.  I wouldn't mind seeing him sit the next three and then come back for the Richmond game.

I looked up the line this morning (still -20), but it had a special note that Walt was "Probable".  I had no idea he was hurt, but Vegas always seems to know.  Thanks for the info JSF.

So is this part of a round robin tournament like the one we played with Louisville the last couple of years?  I just noticed that UNC-W, Hampton, Wofford and Ohio all play each other.

I don't think it is, but we do have some room for caution. Still, he needs minutes to get ready for Richmond.

We need Walt's minutes so we can win these games.  Not just him getting ready for Richmond.  We aren't good enough to overlook UNCW, Wofford or Hampton.

We can absolutely beat Wilmington without Walt.

Even without Walt we would still be big favorites. My comments were obviously pure speculation because I have no idea what is wrong with Walt.  I don't even know if rest would matter  but if the choice is getting or keeping him healthy for the rest of the year or possibly losing to one or all three of the above I want to make sure he is healthy. And it would also give some much needed extra minutes to someone else like Ricardo Johnson or Travis Wilkins.

Just read in the Messenger that it is part of the Nation of Coaches Classic round-robin tournament.

I vote for trying to get away with it.  Sit him on the bench and look his way only if we are in trouble with around 10 minutes left.  Same with Hall.

I don't believe any team should ever overlook any opponent, but I do believe this is the best Ohio team I've ever seen.

Can't wait to see that "2012 Nation of Coaches Classic Tournament Champions" banner hanging in the Convo.

Buzz has been all over Appalachian State (x2), Tenessee and UNC-W. Little known fact I read: he was roommates with Michael Jordan at UNC!
