Thoughts, anyone?

I'll admit...that team was BAD. Solid "W" though, we took care of business as we should. Wofford on Sunday looks to be more of a test.

Nit-picking here, but we really need a competent back up PG when we face better teams. Stevie has looked quite shaky at times.

I like how Ivo played tonight.  He had a good balance between going to the hoop and settling for the outside jumper.  He is playing with great confidence.

Cooper had some excellent assists but definitely lacked control at times.

That being said it is hard not to play down to the level of your competition.  I hope our level of competition increases in the next few games.

Stevie had four assists and four steals in 11 minutes. His one on one defense really burns a lot of time off the shot clock. He didn't score, but I'm not looking for that from a backup point guard.

We've had blowout wins where we're simply hitting shots and the other team isn't, but we absolutely crushed Wilmington on both ends of the floor. We forced a ton of turnovers, got out and ran the floor, created and hit good looks close to the basket. No complaints from me tonight.

Realistically, anyone know how UNC-W is supposed to fare in their conference? They didn't look good at all, but I know they've had some recent success. Guess they were just so-so last year.

Color me impressed with tonight's game. I realize UNC-W is not a good team, but that was a complete domination. Leaving the game, I honestly couldn't think of one thing that was in need of improvement. That's maybe happened 4-5 times in my 25+ years of watching Ohio Basketball.

It goes beyond how good or bad UNC-W is.   This was a matchup nightmare for them.  They have some pretty good bigs but can't get the ball in a position to get it to them.  If you could pick a team for us to dominate this would be it.  I have a feeling that they will have a good win or two down the road but this was a recipe for disaster for them.

I thought they played great but to say there isnt one area they dont need to improve on is a bit crazy.  They need to cut down on the sloppy turnovers (especially dj), against better teams this will be more costly.  Also developing a consistent low post option would be really helpful to the offense if the outside shot goes cold.   Richmond and st bonnies should be good tests before memphis.

Well, this shows how far up my backside my head is.  I thought this game was tonight!  Glad for the win nonetheless.
