put the freaking ball in the hoop early.  The longer we go shooting cold, the more it will snowball into exactly the kind of game emu wants. for the last 10 minutes against Kent last week, no one wanted the ball and no one could put the ball in the hoop.  We do that again and we are in serious trouble.  We all know Eastern is not good, but we all hate this matchup.

Hope this flag promotions doesn't cause havoc with the web broadcast - I imagine 1000 flags waving between the camera and the court.

Agreed.

Not sure what's worse....our camera work or Eastern Michigan?!

A couple of early buckets for Ivo is nice to see.

First half was near perfect after the slow start.  We had a great percentage, but what was good was that a lot of those were high percentage shots.  If we want any shot at a March run, we need that.

The game is all but over, but we're beginning to play sloppy.

It's just odd to think that if EMU were just .500 on the road they would have a record similar to ours.

That foul on Reg was cheap.

It was a great game tonight until the foul on Reg, then his retaliation.  I thought a couple of EMU's late fouls were just them shoving our guys rather than a basketball foul.  Absolutely none of it was necessary.

Still, happy that we score a blowout win to reach 20.  GO CATS!

its taken everything in my power to not type in all caps like a fool to express my frustration with this video feed. the entire game happens just outside of the frame, its maddening.

whatever the cost to get a quality camera, a better position, and a better operator I will pay it. I will dip into my 401K to get this done. I can't take it anymore. And can we get the score in a graphic that wasn't created in 1987 that takes up a 1/3 of the screen?

Our patience in the first half was a thing of beauty.

As an alum who lives out of town, I'm grateful I can watch our games online. But yeah, it's time to upgrade the production. Camera doesn't keep up with the action, score graphic frequently wrong. Just look at what some of the other schools around the conference are doing. We can do better than this.

Only if you also give money to get our TV commercials converted off of the Betamax that they reside on, and upconverted.

It's been worse...but it's been a whole lot better.  If they can't keep up with the ball, they need to widen out a bit.  Sometimes I think the operator is eating dinner or something instead of watching the action.  Or doesn't realize that it's a live feed with actual people watching.  They need to remember to FOLLOW THE BOUNCING BALL!!!!!

Agreed.  Although I enjoyed a laugher for a change, it was the ugliest 23-point win I've seen.  Their zone was giving us fits until we spread it out and got a few backdoor plays to click.

The stream used to be 640x360. Now it's 480x360. Every time I watch one of our online broadcasts I groan and wonder how many prospective Scripps College students choose another school after seeing the trash we use to promote ourselves (that goes for our terrible advertisements that run on ESPN, too)

We supposedly have such a strong communication/s program and yet every actual mass communication creation that finds a national audience is total crap. Sure, WOUB is great, but I can't watch that, can I?

This is what I don't get. T-Comm/VisComm/Journalism....those are all supposed to be among the best programs in the nation. Is it an infrastructure problem? If so, can we get some of that $2 Billion capital improvement money to fix it? Because it's kind of embarassing when your nationally televised broadcast looks the same in HD and SD.

And if it isn't an infrastructure issue, then go find the person who did the band video posted over on the football board and put them in charge of this stuff. It can't be any worse.

I bet it's infrastructure. OU's had bandwidth problems as long as I can remember.

This. I really want to do a commercial that really plays up the student body aspect of this school. Imagine getting one of our more excitable O Zone members walking down the brick walkway on College Green toward the Alumni Gate.

"You usually only get to do college once. One chance to really push yourself, to branch out, to realize your full potential the way you want to. From a night studying in the library to a Saturday morning at Peden stadium, you can be you. From award winning academics to one of the best student populations in the country, there's something here for everyone." *voice starting to get louder* "So come on, join the pack. COME. TO. OHIO." *Rufus, fans, some 110 stand at gate, 110 starts to play SUAC as the screen fades to green and the Ohio Academic logo.

I came up with that in about 5 minutes, and it isn't about some chick digging crap out of the slurry pond next to Baker. Boom.

Yeah, I mean, good grief, I don't know who OKs the commercials they run. They're just terrible.

Glad Jimmy C sat Keely/Coop at the end, after Keely's flagrant . Sloppyish blowout, but I'll take it.

I'm showing it is either 15 or 15.5.  The O/U is 121.5 which seems high to me.
