Absolutely no emotion from anyone on the court.  Going through the motions it seems. Another poor job with FT's -- 50%.

Baltic MIA. Hurt? Sick?

I believe he's in Groce's doghouse.  He played about 2 minutes in the first half and has not been seen yet in the second.

The boys look like they want to lose and the boys just look scared on offense.

All year I have told all my friends that Ohio was probably the best team in the MAC.  I believed it then, but I have changed my mind.

A frustrated BOBCAT.

Any coach who doesn't play 2-3 against us for the entirety of the game should get a pink slip before leaving the building.

This is ridiculous.  Screening the top of the zone is not working.  Put someone on the foul line and dump it in to them.  It doesn't have to be a big just someone who can make a good decision.

Bingo.  2-3 zone is gonna be a steady diet for the rest of the year.   Should be practicing against it daily right now.

Where can I find ticket information for the CBI?  I'm just kidding... (kind of)  Ypsilanti sucks the life outta ya...Hold that thought.  Here comes the 4 min panic, where defense and aggressive offense shows up!

On defense we seem to be playing with some intensity, but offensively amazingly we do not appear to really have any dander that would accompany a win.

That seems to be a bit of a problem right now.

Why is EMU hitting 50% from the floor and 8 - 12 on 3's?

Time to get prepared for 5 games come March.  This is pathetic and quite embarrassing.

John Groce has done nothing special in his four years at Ohio with a 30-28 conference record. With the support, money, facilities and talent that Ohio has the conference record should be better.  Seeds of 9, 9, 5 and well after todays loss we sit in 5th now behind Bowling Green because we could beat Toledo or EMU. EMU likely over takes us because of our roads games and they get to play the west. Would you extend the contract of a coach that can't finish above 5th. That's more of the same crap we got from the 7 years under O'Shea. What happen in two years when this junior class graduates? Another wilderness season. Next year is a big year for Groce. If he can't get Ohio into a top four finish with the entire team coming back that he 100% recruited he is gonna be in hot water. Why should be settle for 5th or worse when Akron and Kent State are one and two each year. Now Buffalo is recruiting bigs like Mccrae that one were staples here at Ohio. Where the hell is Brandon Hunter, Leon Williams or Gary Trent. If Groce is such a great recruiter why does the other MAC teams have a strong power forward presence and we ask dimuntive guards to shoot 35 footers. Atleast Bubba Walther made 35% of those Cooper at 26% isn't even close.  How about getting more shots for Kellogg? He's took what 2 shots?

Maybe we can drop the discussion about Eastern not deserving to be in the mac. They just beat us.

oubobcatjohn...Well stated. It would appear that we won't make the big dance this year. So is he any better than TOS, NO. TOS has to be smiling as his record here is looking better and better against someone many of us thought would make a great coach based on his experience and recruiting ability.
I am not sure how many years Groce has left on his contract but I am sure he was thinking with this group he would make it to the big dance this year and next and then it's on to a bigger job. Well not so fast, no dance this year and we don't know abiout next. The year after next is a rebuilding one for sure, too many leaving due to graduation.

Why didn't we go after someone with head coaching experience? The contract extension was premature and unnecessary.

Same people with pitchforks and torches came on here talking the same non-sense about Frank Solich.  You will be forgotten easily in a week or two.

Not even going to go there.  But, the perfect solution everywhere is to find a new coach.  Yep....sure.

I didn't say that we need a new coach, but some of our problems might stem from the lack of experience as a head coach, just maybe? The administration might have been hasty after the Georgetown win.

"This team can't beat the zone!" is an appropriate criticism.

"This team has no heart!" is a ridiculous and inappropriate criticism.
