Ohio has an up-tempo offense that's happy putting 70+ on the board.

Fiami has a slow-paced offense that's happy with less than 65 pts.

I hope both teams are happy Saturday.

No, friction. Yeah, it's about friction.

Their pace under Cooper is faster than under Coles.

If Ohio wins tomorrow, will they be cutting down the nets as conference regular season co-champs?

No reason to do that....this team has bigger goals.

That would make for quite an end to senior night!

That doesn't mean you don't smell the roses along the way.  I'm pretty sure the team has bigger goals than just winning the MAC Tourney but I'd be willing to bet if we win it we cut down the nets then.  Akron cut down the nets when they clinched a co-championship on Tuesday.  I hope we do the same.  It would be a nice present to our home fans.

Amazing that they did not even wait till they would have had an outright Championship. They cut them for a CO ship. Yes we should cut them down.  A conference championship is just that and should be celebrated. Once you make the determination it is a ship and miss the photo op it will be gone forever.

IIRC correctly there was a treadwell or Harney tweet out there showing off their conference champs rings from 2012. NIT din't give no rings and I do not know if the MACC gives runner up rings

This is going to be the worst day of my sporting life, regardless of outcome.

Today is going to be a coronation. Senior Day for a great group of seniors, big win against our chief rival and a MAC championship! We should definitely cut down the nets, this group deserves to have their accomplishment recognized in front of the fans. After that on to Cleveland!

Hell, Indiana cut them down after a LOSS on Tuesday, and that conference can still end in like a 4-way co-championship.

Cut the nets.  These boys deserve any accolades they receive.  No team in Ohio history deserves a MAC Championship.  I love the fact that Akron pretty much had a tourney bid locked up and the MAC Championship locked up.  Now we are rising and they are falling.

Thanks to being home for a family death (my brother-in-law Jim) I am off to the final home game of this great senior class.
Thanks Jim Bob.

Generally Convo doors are 90 minutes before tip, so I'd say 2:30.

Y'all talked me into it and Akron is why. Zippy trolls this board and it annoys the hell out of them that they are sharing the title.

Cut 'em down!

Brick after brick after brick and look out of control at times. But does Christian use a timeout to settle them down? Nope, he just lets'em continue to look like crap. Not sure what else he is saving those 1st half timeouts for.

Then again, the Maiami guy seems to be hording his timeouts too.

Seems Christian thinks the same way. Still throwing up bricks yet no timeouts to slow them down and give them a break. 0 for their last 10 and 6-31 on the half.

Very disappointing first half. Less than 20% field goal percentage. Can't they win any big game? Against a losing team they, don't want to share in the MAC regular season championship? Please show up in the second half!

No, I'm serious. This isn't football. Your timeouts aren't split between halves. There's one you can't take with you to the second half, which was called with 8 minutes left.

How does a timeout make you shoot better?
