Losing EJ4 for any significant amount of time is going to hurt. I'll wait and see if it means we have him for Cleveland or not before I get too worried.

Just doesn't feel like our year.
If he’s out for any significant time, this team isn’t making it to Cleveland.

Edit — idk how to delete, but just saw Fear say the same.

Your guys underestimate how terrible the bottom of the MAC is IMO.

Don't get me wrong he's been our best rebounder on a team that has nobody inside so we're going to struggle. Still think we could find a way to sneak in as the least terrible of the terrible teams.

Size and athleticism. Two things Boals has not been able to recruit.

Another newsflash… My feeling is by the end of the year we will be near the bottom of the MAC. We have learned to lose to anybody by five points.

I think you’re overestimating our ability this year —- minus AJB and EJ4. We are the bottom of the MAC.

That’s it Mitchell, guard the lane and leave the three-point shooter wide open.

Our big men don't rebound (0 boards today from Wiz and AJC with 10 minutes left) and our guards don't hit from 3 (0-7 today from Hunter, Sheldon, Mitchell, Brown).

Nothing goes right.

Tough to see Elmore go down. And now we look absolutely dead in the 2H.

All of our various roster issues are coming to a head. That's a tough spot to be in.

Wonder what the deal with Cornish is? Seems to me he’s got to play a lot more.

Jaylin Hunter has to be one of the biggest disappointments in the league this year.

Same story every game. AJC thinks he’s a guard. Wiz plays like he’s a high school JV guard forced to play center on varsity.

Last check they had 13 offensive rebounds. We had 3.

They’re almost doubling us up on the boards. Our leading rebounder once again is 6’1”.

I know the deal with Cornish, it just makes people here very, very emotional thinking about it.

Too early (down 6 with 5 minutes left) but at some point Ohio might want to consider hack-a-crump.

Again, size matters. Hunter, unable to finish because the bigger guy disrupted his shot.

Not sure what is more exasperating. Watching some of the worst Ohio basketball in decades; or the Discover Card commercial played repeatedly on ESPN+ during those games with the irritating voice of actress Jennifer Coolidge.

We're definitely a part of the bottom lol.

How bad is 2023-24 MAC basketball? WMU is minutes away from going 4-0.

Several chances to foul Crump. Instead, a 3 from White at the end of a possession.

Ha, yeah -- there were a couple of threads where I pointed out early on that Cornish was a "swing and a miss" and it elicited rational disagreement from some, and a lot of emotions from some others.

But basically: Cornish isn't very good. If he were, he'd be playing more. We've know had two of the wings ahead of him in the rotation go down, and he's still the last guy in our rotation.

Hopefully he's a project who develops for the future.

Halfway through the season, I’m not ready to give up on Cornish.

But…he’s soft…sorry…but true.

The play where he got the ball in space and got fouled is a perfect example. He had 6 inches on the guy that rotated over, and was lucky to be fouled on his way up. Went up very soft.

Well, I know the coaches are closer to cornish than I am, so they know what they’re doing. However, he’s no worse than half the guys we have on the court right now.
