Didn't see it, but enjoyed listening to Tony C. My son and I enjoyed a joyous moment in the car when Nick hit the 3. It appeared to be drawn up that way out of the timeout and I loved it. I would like to see more plays designed to set Nick up, and I'd also like to see Nick take that shot 1-2 feet behind the arc like that one was.
We are extremely fortunate they didn't put in the put-back attempt. The guy had a wide open look with plenty of time from about 4 feet, but I think he felt unnecessarily rushed and it was an ugly attempt. We caught a few breaks, like them shooting 14 for 26 from the line and making some seemingly boneheaded turnovers. I don't think Richmond played their best, but we'll take it.
TJ Hall 12 minutes, 5 fouls, 5 turnovers, 0 assists. Ouch. He is the most volatile player we have, many great games many clunkers. A lot of the same can be said about Treg (5 minutes, 2 fouls, 2 turnovers).
I'll tell you who IS dependable though - Our starting 5. These guys are settling in for a good season and bring it every game. Ndour 8 for 10 is awesome, but Jon Smith seemed to have an awesome game, doing what he does best...quietly being in the right place at the right time.
Also, 18 turnovers but 0 from our point guards.
