If we lose this game...we lost it with Boals sitting Reef and Captain Chaos for the last 10 minutes. I understand being careful with one of them as each had two fouls, but in a game against the league's best team...you can't sit both guys for 10 minutes and think The Whiz and Cornish are going to hold steady.

Too many forced minutes for Cornish. Insane lineup on the floor last five minutes. Cost us terribly.

Unreal (and annoying) make by Freeman. 3’s aren’t falling and half of our attempts are coming from behind the arc. Those corner ones especially are not this team’s sweet spot.

This is a physical game, 9 second chance points for Akron are the difference.

We seemed to come out very aggressive and stayed aggressive all the way through the first half. I like to see that, and I think we need to play physical to beat Akron. But we've also had some rushed possessions and silly mistakes, so we need to be more patient and get better looks.

I do think that our rebounding is much improved. We still can't get an offensive rebound to save our lives, but we've limited the number of second chances for Akron.

This “rebounding” is outrageous. I honestly laughed out loud. Akron seems surprised how easy it is to get rebounds. They seem startled when a ball hits them in the hands.

Boals played JP 38 mins per game. He rode guys. Now he is balancing guys to a baffling extent. Ajay and Ike are clearly not ready for this game. EJ4 seems ready. Go with a 7 man rotation with Wiz also this half. Kron's bench play is better.

A question for offical scorers/refs out there. With Ali Ali Ali at the line, Wiz subbed in for Hadaway for rebounding. Ali made the free throw and Hadaway subbed back in for Wiz with no time off the clock. I thought this wasn't allowed. Time had to come off the clock before you could sub back in. Has this changed?

That halftime shot from Freeman had me nervous that Akron would pull away in the second half but to my suprise the Cats got back into it.

Horrendous sound quality in the broadcast. No arena sound at all. Could have been an empty building from what we could hear. I wonder if we have anyone on campus who has some broadcast expertise???
