Friday at Miami, the Ohio football team is looking to extend its winning streak to seven games which would be the most since the 1968 team won 10 straight. To do that, the Bobcats will probably need a big day from junior running back Kalvin McRae. He has rushed for 100 yards in each game during the win streak and Ohio is 7-0 when he hits the century mark this season. Ohio University beat Akron 17-7 Thursday night to clinch a berth in the 2006 Marathon MAC Football Championship football game against Central Michigan.

The Bobcats will have a chance to win their first MAC Championship title since 1968.

The game will be played Nov. 30 at 7:30 p.m. (ESPN) at Ford Field in Detroit.

Ohio's win streak reached three as the Bobcats beat Buffalo 42-7 on Homecoming Saturday afternoon at Peden Stadium. For the third straight game, running back Kalvin McRae surpassed the 100-yard mark with 109 yards on 17 carries and two touchdowns. Senior wideout William Norwood added two touchdown catches. The Ohio (5-3, 3-1 MAC) defense held Buffalo (1-6, 0-5) to 171 yards of offense including just 39 rushing yards.

Ohio now gets set to play at Kent State next Saturday for the lead in the MA...
